Did my save get corrupted, did the patch do something, or both?

I have gotten a little further than when I posted last time, but I still haven't finished the fifth mission. I am fairly confident that I can do it now though, so I guess I won't give up on it quite yet (until I run into something hard again!)
I haven't had issues with saves, but I did have trouble with the disk a couple of times. Even though there isn't a scratch on it, I got the bad disk error. The 360 shut off on me, and it did lock up a couple of times. I just got this 360 a couple of weeks ago as a replacement for my original one that locked up, so I was convinced I was going to lose that one as well.

OK, finally found something that is more frustrating than not being able to get past a certain section of a game - beating everything in that section and not being able to go on because of a glitch. I'm on Mission 9, the Bulldog mission, had everything done that I was supposed to do, and couldn't go any further because of a glitch. I couldn't get the tanks to move, but I knew that there were a couple of soldiers left, yet when I tried to get them, I got the leaving the battlezone message. I couldn't do anything, so I had to restart, and now I can't even get that far because I am so frustrated with the game. What a complete pissoff.
I hope that when I get to that point again I don't run into the same glitch. Did anyone here run into that glitch?

Do you guys recommend buying this? I'm looking for a non sports game that I can play on and offline and this one looked like it might be pretty cool. But, with the 59.99 price tag. I just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake and buying a game that will get old quick. Thanks

To be honest i have gotten a huge amount more online playtime from Call of Duty 2 than GRAW. I thought it got dull kind of quickly online with people glitching and the single player game (from what i have seen on the forums here) sounds kind of glitchy.

I thought the single player mission was a blast, and I only encountered a glitch once. The online co-op missions are a blast, especially when they're new and you don't know exactly where to go. After beating the co-op missions numerous times, it got a little old when everybody knows what to do and the mission no longer presents a challenge. However, playing with "new" people seems to bring some life back into those modes. As far as the deathmatch modes, I haven't really played them too much.
COD2 is fun also, although I think the single player campaign is more frustrating, especially on veteran. However, if you're looking mainly for fast paced online deathmatch games, COD2 is a better choice. COD2 is the online game of choice for many of the forum members here.

GRAW is my favorite 360 game, hands down. I've gotten way more than $60 worth of enjoyment from it (perhaps too much, if you ask Mrs. Rex). I've run into one or two glitches, but nothing serious. The graphics are amazing, especially after watching someone play the Xbox version at Best Buy. If I had only one game for the 360, GRAW would be it.

I finally finished GRAW yesterday. I loved the game, aside from the glitches. There was one part that I had a hell of a time getting by for some reason, even though others found it easy (posted a few posts up). Places that I found easy others found hard.
Regardless, I would give it a big
and would recommend it. I am probably going to start COD2 next, just so I can beat it and trade/sell before COD3 comes out (November I believe). The guys that I play on Live don't have much interest in playing this online, but I would be interested in trying it out. I only beat it on regular, so I might try it on the harder level, but I have such a backlog of games that I might just put it away for a while.

I LOVE this game. This is still about the only game I play. Look me up on Live, I have not been on much lately, but I will be on this week, usually around 9-10pm CST. I play Co-op or some unranked team play.

I loved GRAW and online is lotsa fun. However, since I'm cheap I never purchased the new map pack that came out for online play. Let me tell you, it's a pain finding online matches that aren't using the New maps. I may still buy them later but I suggest you look into getting them.

If you really liked GRAW, I would say buy the maps. They are not that much and they are very cool, nothing like playing Nowhere at night and doing away with the standard hiding places of other players.

Like I said, finding games on GRAW without the 800 point maps is frustrating and I don't want that to happen on RS:Vegas.

Is it just me or is the sound extremely low in some spots. Like voices. The guns and bombs sound awesome, but when nothing is going on and somebody is talking to me, its really low.
The text is way to small also, no way I can read that from 6 feet away.

You could try setting the Voice all the way up and the pulling back on the SFX and Music.

Yeah it's pretty cool. I'm not sure how the "mule" will be used in the game other than a supply point but apparently they have something in mind based on the fact that you can control it and from the footage in the "gameplay video" they have up. It also looks great.
It's probably time for aGRAW 2 to get its own thread since Nosmo Rex kicked off the GRAW 2 talk. Perhaps the Mods can set that up.
