Truth. Plus, there is another lightsaber game in the works anyway.

Sorry, Wii loses on this one. :)

Agreed with both of you.

So has anyone found reviews of the new one yet?

Gamespot gave it a 7.5 - Good. Their only real complaint was that there wasn't much new.

That's a great deal of content, and if you haven't played either Lego Star Wars games, this is a solid package made even better by improved graphics, new levels, and online cooperative play. If you have played either Lego Star Wars games, though, you'll be getting a lot of recycled content here, which makes The Complete Saga harder to recommend.

I got the new one for Wii and I love it. The wiimote as a lightsaber isn't a lame novelty, it actually feels very natural.

Having never had the original games, this is an instant classic for me. I just wish I could get all the damn minikits, but I realize I need to buy/unlock other characters first.

My copy came with a "2 secret codes" sticker, which made R2-Q5 buyable as well as an extra that I can't remember.

I'm not easily impressed, but no way it scores below a 9.0. It's as close to a 10 on the Wii as I've seen.

I don't find it "gimmicky" at all in this game. Yes, you move your hand around and it controls the saber, but it's very smooth. I like it a lot, and don't use the button at all.

Finished A New Hope today. Love the game but am getting frustrated with the constant re-spawning enemies especially in the two death star levels

If you mean that area where you have to build the door to the Hangar with the Falcon in it, then yeah, that was always a bitch.

I think in the other areas the re-spawning was solved by destroying the cameras above the elevators or shooting grappling hooks when they appear. Been a while since I've played though.

As I said earlier, I enjoyed the first game. While this one was fun, I could easily go the rest of my life without hearing the Star Wars music.
