Yeah, the pinup posters are all different (and two of the girls are completely different) and the locations of some items (like the cardboard box that used to be atop the prison building is now beside it) have been relocated.
But that's fine by me because it makes it a little more interesting playing through it all over again.
I wish I had broadband and a network adaptor, I'm dying to play MGO.
Anyone try MG and MG2 yet. I'm stuck in early in both. In MG I get to a room where some guy is tied (is this Gray Fox?) and he celebrates that I freed himn but he doesn't talk to me. I call Big Boss but he doesn't answer. I go to the next room and there's gas everywhere so Big Boss tells me to call some guy named Schneider but he never gives me the frequency. A couple rooms before that, Big Boss tells me to use the radio to contact the resistance but he offers no frequency. So I go one by one through all the available frequencies but no one picks up. What gives?
In MG2, Campbell gave me the frequency to contact Master Miller (140.38) and also the frequency of some other character (I forgot who) but no one picks up on either frequency. I also read online that there's an instance later in the game that you are told to check your software manual to find a person's frequency (kind of how Baker told you to check the CD case to contact Meryl in MGS) but nowhere in the Subsistence manual is there any mention of said frequency.

well looks like I missed out on pre-ordering or anything like that, but im definitely interested by this. the last MG game I seriously played was the one on the ps1 (metal gear solid?). heck half the reason i would buy this is to go back and play the nes versions, which I vaguely remember from childhood.

At this point, tracking down the LE is only worth it if you're a completist or if you plan on selling it on eBay for a profit (for a while the LE was selling for up to $100 sealed).

I had no idea they were going for that much. Thank God I didn't open mine yet. eBay, here I come.
