Did they say year end or quarter?

I agree. They should dispense with the numbers, it's all bullshit.

that of those who plan to buy one, 90 per cent cite the Xbox 360 as their primary reason for purchasing.
survey pool? Gamers.

as of 10:13 am EST, Circuit City's website is again showing the Core system as available for online ordering.

Just passing it along for those looking. Act fast, though, as I'm sure they don't last long.

Any one have any tips on getting a Premium... please let me know!

Wow, that was fast. I saw it, put it in my cart... then looked at it. When I went to add a wireless adapter, it was gone.

Was it a Premium bundle? I'm assuming that part. But the description was terrible in terms of trying to figure out what else they were including in the "bundle".

My local EB said they got in a few core systems yesterday. For anyone looking You might want to give a call if you have one near you.

Yeah, I think that's the worst part about this whole launch - the fact that you either have to wait outside a store for hours to buy a system, or get lucky online and buy an overpriced bundle.

I really miss the days when you could just pick what you wanted to buy.

Can someone smart price this package out for me? Are you ending up paying for the remote that is coming free in some of the premiums?

CC is sold out now....http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/gener....do?oid=136791

It added up to the right price....$639, but PREMIUM is much better.

The remote in the premium has quite a few less buttons than the Universal remote. Pretty much take off the buttons below the colored buttons and that's the premium remote.

And with all those Core bundles, if you want to run through HDTV with the component input... you need to buy that cable as well. And really, what is the point of the WIRED controllers with this.

I just stopped by a local Toys R Us, and they had Cores in stock. So that's another place people can check if they are interested.

Doesn't come with the headset either correct? Such a waste manufacturing all those cores.

In case that Sears bundle comes back online at some point... can anyone confirm exactly what it is? Is it a premium system? It's so badly written.. and all it calls it is an "xbox 360 pro bundle"

I got in on the sears one yesterday. Title desc. was in fact horrible but the only bundle I've seen with PGR is the premium system. If it gets here and its not I'll just return it to a local sears store.

Got an order confirmation yesterday but still no idea when it will actually ship heh.

Anyone hear of anything with regard availability of Premium systems? I've been doing random "pop ins" at stores... but that gets really old, fast.

Maybe the following will help some of you. It is an awesome tool, and it seems to work perfectly as far as I can tell

But BB's site uses cookies and blah blah... so I made my own tool and decided to share it with you guys.

It's simple and sits in the tray. It checks your local BestBuy's at an interval you choose, and alerts you with a balloon, and if you want, on your cell phone.

This release doesn't include the sms messaging, but i'm working on that now.
Test it out for me, let me if there are any probs, and I'll try to work out any kinks and release new versions.

Comments are welcomed

anyhoo, download it here: XBOX360BB 0.5

The application REQUIRES the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 runtime, download that HERE .

Visit my new blog for updated releases and more info: http://untitlednet.blogspot.com/

Oh and btw, this tool wasn't "that" simple to make. So if you find it useful or if it scored you an XBOX 360, it'll be nice of you to make a small donation on my new blog. http://untitlednet.blogspot.com/

Toys R' Us Bundle ($999) is currently in-stock again at Amazon. I don't want it, but thought this may help someone who did.

-----Never mind - already gone within about 4 minutes after I noticed.

It's nice to see most of the Ebayers out there aren't making a dime off the system. With listing and sellling fees, along with paypal fees, they are lucky to break even.

You assume they are getting them at retail.

I wasn't going to post more, but I don't want to be the cryptic asshat. There are places to get gift certificates for retail stores that carry XBoxes (eg. CC) at a discount, say 20%. Do a search for "dealpass".

Or... They could be hot.
