Canis where did you get the town name Sakura? Is it a reference to Love Hina? or Card Captor Sakura Maybe? If so I wasn't aware you were an Anime fan.

Martin. I figured it would be obvious given my characters name and town name. That is if you have seen the anime series.

Yes, it is from CardCaptor Sakura. I was going to use the actual name for Kero, but I think it was one letter too long. So, I chose Kerochan, without the -.

Love watching Anime, and have a fair bit.

CardCaptor Sakura is the only CLAMP series I haven't seen I've been meaning to though believe me; it's just that I'm watching AIR: TV, Shuffle!, Honey & Clover, Azumanga Daioh, and Blood+ all at the same time right now. I'll work it in there though

It's a bit cutsey, but it is really well done. It is repetative in the beginning, but towards the end of the first Arc and the end of the last Arc, it definetly picks up.

I don't think I know the series you mentioned. I've been lax at any Anime lately. Though I've recenlty been watching Zeta Gundam. Saw a bit of Bleach the other week and that looks/sounds like an intersting series.
Only other Clamp series I am aware of that I watched was Rayearth.

You NEED to watch Azumanga Daioh right away, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite series of all time and you can get the entire set at BB for $40. But my all time favorite is still Chobits which is a CLAMP series.

lost kitty experience

Thank you for opening your town for the lost kitten exchange. You're right, apparently both players need to be present to finalize it. For some reason the first time I tried it, the connection got lost. Luckily I restarted and the kitty was still at my town waiting to be rescued. The reunion between the kitty and its mom was cute and took place right inside your gate, I'm not sure if you were able to view it.
I received a Papa bear from the kitty today. I must say, I'm a little dissapointed, I was hoping for either a music box or a portrait for all the trouble that kitty gave me. The kitty arrived early in the morning and I was afraid I would lose the chance if I powered down so I kept my DS on all day while charging. Dragging the kitty around made it difficult to do anything else because the kitty kept falling down or crying everytime I went into a building, tried fishing, etc. promting me to constantly talk to the kitty, if I told the kitty to bug off I might have lost the chance.

Yeah sorry about that Tanman but I recognized Canis's town name and had to know what he was referencing. I'll shy away from contaminating your thread about a Japanese game that I would venture to guess will be turned into some type of Anime series someday

How did you get that? I'm assuming as a gift from someone. Man, I'd love to get one of those, but I know there's no way you'd let anyone pick that up to add it to their catalog. Though it wouldn't matter even if it was in my catalog, 'cause I couldn't afford it.

Seriously that is a really strange error. Everyone can get to yours. Everyone can come to mine. But we can't visit each others towns? Wierd.

And thanks outer-edge for dropping the painting! I went over my town and thought did my paintings collection just grow?! Sure enough it did. Phhssh Red had a famous painting, one of the four that I am now missing. Yep. A Fake. That darn Fox! The fake paintings are so annoying!
I know. Though technically I only have an engagement ring, so... Naw, I'm a good girl!

Okay, you can stop laughing at that now... I'm good as far as that's concerned. I'm not a slut, I just look like one.

Hopefully it was just a temporary glitch that has nothing to do with either of our connections. It just doesn't make sense. I'll check those links that Outlaw posted and see what they say it is. But I got the 86420 one every time, except the last time when it changed to that other number. It showed that number once, then it said your gates weren't even opened, which very well might have been the case at that point since it was fairly late.

We'll try again later if you're around.

This is my painting collection so far:
Dainty
Quaint
Basic
Perfect
Moving
Flowery
Warm
Lovely
Worthy
Calm
Opulent

I could order you any of them that you don't have, although that's assuming we can somehow get in contact with each other.

Outlaw: Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet up with you yesterday, I slept most of the day (yeah, I have an odd schedule) and by the time I got back from shopping it was too late. But I have those paintings for you whenever you're available for me to get them to you. Some of them might be duplicates, but I'm pretty sure at least one of them will be new to you. If there are duplicates, I'd like them back just so I can put them in my town so other people can add them to their collection, like you do.

Vryce: I've got you on my list now.

It also wouldn't matter because it's one of the few items that Nook doesn't sell out of the catalog. The only good picking it up will do is have it show up in your catalog, but it sounds like you're not really playing with a completionist's mindset.

For Vryce:
Spoiler:
(yes you must see Azumanga Daioh, Vryce, its hilarious! even for someone like me who's just a casual fan, such a crazy show)

ooooooooookay. thats the last of that. Just had to confirm it. Thats all right WhoGirl, it actually worked out pretty good because I didn't get a chance to go online with AC yesterday because I was meeting a friend for dinner and was getting a TV delivered to me during the day. I have your
lamp and I couldn't remember which other thing you wanted, the tea set?

As if to insult me, the Able Sisters were selling the Royal Crown the day I put all my money into turnips. I still would have needed to do some serious fishing, etc. to get enough for the crown, but I was close enough it was possible. Of course, I bought the turnips before I visited the store and had no idea.

Ahh okay. So it's like a specialty item, like the snowman stuff. I saw the plain old regular Crown available at The Able Sisters shop once for 1,000,000 bells, so I figured it was like that.

As for me not having a completionist mindset, I don't know what would give you that idea. I've always been a perfectionist, especially in video games. Taking on side quests or doing levels that aren't necessary in order to beat the game. I'd love to have that Royal Crown in my catalog, sure, but I'd rather own one. That's why I had the 'oh well, it doesn't matter' sort of attitude.

No, the tea set is pretty lame. Err, no offense to anyone who likes that sort of stuff. It was that grandfather clock on the second floor of your house.

And thanks for getting that lamp for me! I'll be logging on in a few minutes, so I'll see you soon!

Oh, speaking of royal stuff, I'd love to get the regal couch. It's one of those Town Type A items, but I have type C and my fiance has type B, so it hasn't been available. (For those who don't know, according to the guide certain town types are more likely to get certain items.) If anyone could help me out with that, I'd be very grateful!

Is there two crowns? The one I saw for sale I swear was Royal Crown, red with gold, and cost 1.2 million bells.

Yes, there is. The plain Crown was just gold with spikes going around it. Kind of like the typical crown drawing.

Like this:

But without the little diamonds on top of the points.

Derwin the Duck REALLY misses you WhoGirl! :-)

I keep adding more people to my list but never see anyone when I try to connect (if it lets me connect). I'll try again tonight.

I FINALLY payed off the next to last room! Final upgrade is tomorrow. Is everyone getting their paintings from trading? I keep getting fakes from Redd.

Outlaw: I agree with your spoiler up there. It is loads of fun. I just started Maburaho. It starts off very funny but I hear it gets more serious near the middle.

Oh God, no. I sent him Hate Mail saying "I HATE you, derrrr! You sound so retarded. Move away from Orgasm! Leave! Go away! I will kill you if you don't!" and Derwin would reply back with stuff like " I love getting mail. You're so nice! We should be best buds!" ACK! I tried to send another one hoping that it wouldn't be confused as being a nice letter, saying stuff like "I HATE YOU! DIE! You jerk! Bastard! Loser! You're pathetic!" and such.

....he still replied thanking me and telling me how much he loves the town and me! ARRGGHH!

I got him twice already. He was in my town first, then moved to my fiance's town, (Suprmallet, Sand in Sandland in AC) and moved back to Orgasm!!

I hate the jock type animals. Seriously. All they talk about is their muscles and working out.. yet I never see them working out, nor do they own ANY weights!! I don't need to be questioned about which thing does Goose or any other Jock like about their body the best. Blech.

I guess it was your comment about how you weren't collecting the gyroids, but I can see the distinction between not caring to get them and not caring to keep them.

It might be too late, but there's a special present by connecting to WiFi today (the 21st, which was tuesday). PrincessT and glasschicken both discovered it when they came over, I need to work on my screen photography skill (its quite difficult on such a small screen).

Yeah, I don't think the game recognizes words like the last one. It doesn't really seem to care what you say. Although the do usually tell me that they didn't understand my letter.

I didn't really understand why you didn't like the jock type ones. Until one of them moved into my town and wondered out loud where he put his jock strap. That was weird.

Didn't really play online today. Was kinda busy with other stuff.

As far as paintings go I just need five more. Come on guys, we are almost there!

Famous
Amazing
Nice
Fine
Scary

According to a guide the fine and famous paintings are spotlight items. Strange, just bought a fake famous painting from Redd. Maybe Nook is the only way to get those two.

And just because you have nice feet doesn't mean you look like a slut

Outlaw, the picture came out really great! Short of having a screen capture system like the game reviewers pay mega-bucks for, that's the best we're going to get for awhile (at least until the Revolution).
