Alright, I really don't like how difficult it is to get the paintings. It was difficult enough in the original game and now they have to throw in fake paintings? So can we all get together and drop our paintings to pick up so we can fill in each other's catalog? I know it was kinda done before but since we have had a little time to acquire more I thought maybe we could get the entire set between us. Unfortunately, I don't have that many.

Quaint

Also if people want to fill in their catalogs I have a ton of stuff all around my town. Just come over, pick it up and drop it now before I start to clean it up.

Here is my info again for all the newcomers. Please tell me if you added me.

I've got my entire art gallery sitting outside of my house, as well as tons of fossils and items, but I don't know the next time I'll be online.

To clarify, I don't have all of the paintings, I merely have all eight or nine that I have gotten sitting outside.

I've bought every painting from Redd so far, and only one real one. He really seems to be giving me the short end of the stick on this deal. I'd love to visit some others and share my one painting. It's the moving painting I believe.

Really? Every painting I've bought from Redd has been real!

OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

Turnip price currently 514!!

I am opening my town, which is currently set to the afternoon, so I don't know how long prices will last. Let me know if you can't in and I'll check my list.

It figures, day after I sell half my stock for just over 200. :P

EDIT: oh yeah, be careful running in town as I have some specially grown flowers on the wilt right now, so I don't want to lose those.

Thanks for leaving your town open.

As for the paintings, I think whoever wants to participate can go ahead and order the paintings they have and maybe in a few days we can all visit each others towns to trade. Or we can have one person go to all the towns so they can have the bulk of the collection in one place so everyone only has to visit one town.

I'll probably just settle for anything above what I paid for turnips now. If anyone has over 99 let me know. Of course the week I buy 600 turnips is the week I miss the big sale. Damn.

ouch! Thats rough, must have been a lot of money if you were experimenting. You never know what'll happen when you do that. At least you tried so now we all know not to do it, think of it being that one soldier and taking one for the team .

My paintings came today. I have 8 sitting outside my house so far, anyone interested in swaping tonight sometime since K.K. is coming and I know you all will be on sometime tonight. I'll have my town open for awhile, will post when I do.

I have two spots left, but I'm sure not everyone that I have has me so I'll most likely have more space in the future. Thanks. Just trying to keep my list as up to date as my lazy ass will allow. Oh, my info is now in my signature.

So, who's got good turnip prices for this afternoon? My price is 99, which is what I bought them for so I'll be breaking even. I forgot to sell them last week. D'oh!

I actually had the same thing happen one week. I wasn't trying to get my prices, just catching up days and realized I missed a day of checking furniture. I went back a day to play it and instead of Resetti, I had all rotten turnips, as well as a dead red turnip.

Also, can someone explain designs to me? I want to make a welcome design for my front gate. However, if I place the first piece, and then create something new over it, it replaces the placed piece as well. Do I have to permanently keep designs to keep the pieces on the ground the same?

Yeah, if you want to have more than one design on the ground, they have to be in different positions on your pattern screen. Once you change the design in a slot for something you've placed on the ground, it'll update every instance of the design on the ground.

Hey guys, 8 paintings are sitting in front of my house! Remember all you have to do is pick them up and drop them to get them in your catalogue, then you can order them from Nook's. I have to close up town around 10:00PM EST so act now!

OK then, in Nintendo's guide for the game, they had a whole town with a seaside look using patterns. How did they pull that off with only eight slots? The Octopus design alone looked like it was more than eight. Anyone have that guide?
