I don't believe they are telling people they have them. Both of the Houston Costco's said they did not have them over the phone but obviously from my previous post the Willowbrook Costco did. I am chalking it up to said they were out of them so often that now it's what they say no matter what.

Maybe Costco is diff. than Target, I always tried to get them to transfer me to electronics for a reason other than "Is 360 in?", and I trust electronics to be honest.

No luck in Target, Walmart or Sams today. No Costco here either.

On the plus side, the Gamestop $1K bundle I ordered has everything but Call of Duty 2 listed as "Usually ships in 24 hours." Maybe that'll come through after all. I guess I'll find out Monday.

Forgive my ignorance, but do you have to have a membership to shop at costco?

Nothing in MI, I checked one CostCo yesterday, and one today at around 11:00am

Went to Meijer next door, nothing...they did have HD's though.

I just got my Xbox 360 from Costco... really really great deal

1 Xbox 360 Premium Bundle
1 PGR 3 Game
1 Extra Wireless Controller
1 Play and Charge Pack + 2 Extra Batteries

all for $480 + tax (Came out to $516 + $45 Membership = $561... not bad at all!)

they got 110 in stock this morning and at 1:45 when I picked mine up they had 7 left.

I drove about 40 minutes in HORRIBLE traffic... it was the Costco in Mayfield Heights, Ohio on the east-side of Cleveland... the Avon store which is much closer to me claims that they do not and will not carry the 360.

This is what I'm talking about! Now they just need to wash rinse repeat at every Target, Walmart and BB out there.

None in my area. No place I know of has gotten a second shipment in this area yet. Microsoft is screwing us.

120 360s at the costco in south county (STL). i was number 50 (at least that was the number printed on my slip). the bundle is as AndyClevland pointed out above. basically, you go in, say you want a 360, someone hands you a slip with a preprinted number on it, you pay, and you walk out with the bundle.

btw, the local walmart and target i have been checking have not received anything since the launch. the wally-world even took down their display for 360 accessories. both stores have a ton of 360 games gathering dust on the shelves.

Okay so if Costco, I would say relatively low on the electronics ladder - or lower than Walmart, Target, Circuit City, etc, is getting so many, why the hold up at all the other major retailers (except BB we know why there)?

One WM took down their section including the display 360, another closer to my house still has it up, but very few accessories, and a ton of the EA games and King Kong. I have a gc and I was going to pick up Call of Duty, but they had none in stock

If you live in SoCal we know for a fact Burbank received a 2nd shipment. Are you calling around?

This recent CostCo influx is especially making Best Buy look pathetic with their relaunch quantities.

Went to two Costcos in Phoenix today and struck out both times. Called a third and they said that they'd be getting their next shipment in either tomorrow or Monday.

I'll definitely call them tomorrow right as they open and throughout the day to see what the deal is, and I'll call and stop by there on Monday since I work very close to this particular store.

If I go to costco and find one can I just buy a membership once I get there, or would I have to wait a few days before I could buy anything?

How many stores does Costco have? Based on the quantities I listed the OKC market (4 stores) are getting a total of 100. I know OKC is not a huge market (but we are not small either pop is over 1M) and 100 units total sounds rediculous.

I live in Nor Cal now. I've decided to wait on a 360 anyway. I've got my PS3 pre-order, and I've got so many awesome games for my current systems that I'm going to wait until at least the spring before I get a 360.

yeah you can shop the same day.

lines are REDICULOUS though... i waited 20 minutes in the Membership line, then ran to get my slip (there were only 8 left) for the 360... Went to the checkout line, waited about 20 more minutes (there were 8 checkouts open each with about 10 people deep with CARTFULLS of merchandise)...

but i left with a 360 bundle, pretty good deal. I think they got ALL premiums, no cores.

and they have a STRICT policy of 1 per MEMBERSHIP/customer... and they WILL remember you if you try to get another one. lol.

Also, I overheard that they ARE letting employees buy them, limit of 1 each.

Oh, and there was a guy right when you walked in the store trying to push the systems with a huge display and everything- as if they need the promotion. But i can imagine that a TON of people signed up today because of the bundle. Needless to say, I dont think ill be stopping by Costco again... too crazy.
