They are both sold out now 
the lady told me that there is nothing they can do about it because the system updates itself while in the order processing state so things can sell out even though they are in your cart, so it looks like both systems sold out before my order could be processed. damn

I supposedly got an order in at Circuit City's website. Haven't gotten a confirmation email yet, but I just checked my account on the website, and the estimated ship date for each item in the Core bundle is showing up as 12/8 (today). I won't get my hopes up, but we'll see what happens.

Got my confirmation (and had my CC charged) for the Premium "Bundle" at Circuit City. Took out everything but the Premium system, PGR3, and the wireless controller which brought it to $532 shipped. Sweeeeet.

The gamestop bundle is complete bullshit they have tons of people preordered at their stores and yet they are selling them online to people for shipment next week!! if I had a preorder there I would be ripped up about that.

www.onestopvideogameshop.com is the place that is taking no obligation preorders on 360s both premium and the shitty core system so you really don't have anything to lose by signing up for preorder there. It has been confirmed by many people to be a perfectly legit site. So check that out

I'm even more suspicious of the $1000 Gamestop bundle. The status for the system says, "Pre-Release ETA 11/22/05".
Of course, all the seven games say "Usually ships in 24 hours".
That screwed up date for the system itself does not instill confidence in me.

I am starting to not trust the gamestop bundle either. Someone over on gamefaqs says that they still have a bundle on backorder from September. They wait till everything is in stock before shipping it. I sent them an email. Maybe I will order one later.
