Lost In Blue is a lot of fun, although at times it can feel like you're spending so much time surviving that you don't have a chance to progress. But well worth picking up if you can find it.
I wonder if the DS lite will feature a sliding power tab, like all the GBs had, or another power button. Considering the power is no longer on the face, I imagine it will be a tab.

The current DS, as awesome as it is with its clamshell design, is just slightly too big (as is the PSP) to my liking of a perfect system. This looks much much nicer! And with news that Slime Mori Mori 2 DS coming out in the states, today is an incredibley good news day!!!

Isn't that tamagochi game the one that got panned at the back of last month's EGM reviews?

I think I will upgrade my DS when the screen gets bright enough to give me a tan. I will second Lost in Blue being a very fun game. Though, it is very frustrating util you get some key items and you will want to kill the girl yourself sometimes.

I quite like Trace Memory so far but I haven't finished it yet. If you would like to play an adventure game which is not necessarily overly taxing I think it should be up your alley. The 2d graphics are nice, and the girl (the main character) makes these really cute expressions

I ended up buying another DS on eBay last night for $85. I wanted to wait for a redesign, but after winning a poker tourney and my wife complaining that I am playing AC:WW right in front of her, I decided that I would buy her one.
I will most likely get a redesigned DS as well. I hope that it does not come out until after the Revolution though.

DS Lite confirmed for Europe and North America
Ellie Gibson 10:52 27/01/2006
Choice of three colours planned for Japan
Nintendo has confirmed that the new, slimmed down version of the Nintendo DS will be released in Europe and the US following its launch in Japan on March 2nd, 2006.
Although a specific release date was not announced, Nintendo did say that the DS Lite will make its debut outside of Japan some time after the spring.
The redesigned handheld, which was unveiled earlier this week, will go on sale in Japan for 16,800 yen (118 EURO) in a choice of colours - white, as previously announced, and two more unspecified shades.
Nintendo will continue to produce the original DS, and it will continue to retail for 15,000 yen (105 EURO).
According to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, the company is confident that the DS will continue to sell well as 2006 unfolds. Speaking to the Japanese press, Iwata said: "Taken as a whole with the current version, we're aiming at total domestic sales of 10,000,000 units not too late in the year."
So far more than 13 million Nintendo DS units have been sold worldwide. The handheld has proved most popular in Japan where more than 5 million units havebeen snapped up, compared with 4 million in North America and 3.5 million in Europe.
