So, Ko-Ko, my chihuahua has now won championship in agility. Yea!
Anyone know how to unlock more dogs via bark mode? I linked up with my brother and got the Golden then he bought a beagle and we linked up but neither of us got the dog that we brought. Is there a limit to how many you can unlock via the bark mode?
Here is the latest Fox Trot.

How do you have so many breeds unlocked with only 2,300 trainer points? Have you done it primarily with bark modeing with friends or are there other ways to unlock dogs? I have read you unlock your first at 2,000 TP's.
I really want the Golden but I've read that on my version of the game I'll have to have 20,000 TPs. Thats NOT likely to happen, so I was hoping there was another way (besides bark mode).
Also, anyone unlocked the Dalmation yet?

The easiest way to unlock breeds is by bark mode and it is one unlock per person and only if they have a dog you don't already have available on your game.
I got around 3,000 trainer points, but have completely lost my interest in the game. I haven't picked it up to play in over a week. We are going to give my son his own DS for Christmas and I will probably give him my copy of Nintendogs.

I've been fortunate to have linked with 5 people using bark mode. People than can play this game more than 10 minutes a sitting are way more tolerant than me. I just play it when I smoke a cig. I mainly walk the dog trying to get more items-the RC Helicopter is great.

Don't rember this being posted, but could have missed it. This site has a Nintendogs map creator. Basically there are four quadrants (A, B, C, D), and each of those has four variations (01,02,03,04). You set the four to match your in-game map and it shows all the "hot spot" locations for hidden items.
When you set your walk path try to hit as many of the "?" as you can even if they don't show a "?" on your in-game map. These randomly will be the spots where your dog will find hidden presents or trash.

Hey The Used-
Thats amazing that you unlocked all the dogs with TP only. Don't you need something like 25,000 TP?? I've played the game what I concider to be fairly regularly and I still only have 4000 TP. Any hints?
Also, to get the dalmation, you just randomly pick up the firefighter hat and thats it?

I am dying to get this game, almost enough to warrant a DS purchase since Ive yet to get one... Being the proud owner of 5 dachshunds (plus 3 we had in litters were given to my mother, my mother in law, and our best friends)... you can only guess which one I'll pick out...

Walks are key huh. I tend to get far more TP for winning contests than by taking the dogs for walks. I wonder if there is a clear TP breakdown out there anywhere? That'd be useful.
I just want the Golden.
A Corgi and a Golden are the pair I want.

The Nintendo rep came in yesterday at the local EB Games, and put a new Nintendogs cartridge in the demo DS unit. This one only runs in 'Bark Mode' and has a counter on the main screen that shows how many owners have linked with it.
Upon linking in 'bark mode' you are greated by an audio recording of Hailey Duff, introducing her dog Bentley. Bentley came bearing a gift (Pair of Star Sunglasses - These ultracool sunglasses are all the rage with celebs and their pampered pups). Upon ending the 'bark mode' connection I was informed I also had unlocked 'Urban Living' in the Interior Decorator section. I think I would have also unlocked Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in the kennel (The type of pup Bentley is), but I already have it unlocked.
Hailey Duff also shows up in your friend list.

Just a heads up for those who don't get email from Nintendo. There is an event at Gamestop this weekend where you can take your game in for a free download and a message from Haylie Duff. I am guessing it is the Dalmatian and/or Jack Russell Terrier that we got last weekend at another Nintendo event and maybe some of the stuff mentioned above.
