seems to be a little confusion about the classes. there is indeed a medic kit, they can revive people (usually if you die in a vehicle though no revive possible) drop medkits, and heal anyone around them while they are holding a medkit. If riding in a vehicle people near the vehicle or in closeby vehicles will automatically heal slowly.
the kits are:
medic (assault rifle and medpacks)
spec ops (carbine and c4)
assault (assault rifle w/ grenade launcher)
sniper (rifle and claymore mines)
support (carries light mg and replenishes ammo like medic replenishes health)
engineer (has shotgun, AT mines, and heals vehicles instead)
anti-tank (missile launcher and submachinegun)

I'm thinking early november... but the 360 is supposed to be out in november so unfortunately i might need to consider not getting BF2 to save the 50$ for a 360 game. Decisions decisions...

I wonder if games like this should be coming out. Everyone is up in arms about GTA but its so cartoony that it doesn't seem real. This on the other hand is a real look at war, but tone down just a little so the family can play. Kids are going to play this and want to fight in a war, not that serving the country is a bad thing but this game is aimed at kids. It gives the kids the bang, bang of war but not the horror. There isn't even a option to surrender and take prisoners so the kids are shown killing is the only answer.
I'm sure a stable family with a mom and dad could raise a fine kid even if he played games like this but single parent homes are becoming the norm now. Video games are the other parent and this parent isn't showing a balance picture of reality. Maybe it times we replace games like this with a better parent. Maybe a game that helped with math or a typing tutor game. There is more to life than destruction
I know adults play these games and they should have the right to do so. So as a compromise we should do what some other countries do with violent games and that is not allow them to be advertised or displayed in public. Adults will still be able to get the game by showing ID and asking for it at the counter. This way adults can play the games and kids wont be tempted by them.
Just defending the devil.

Other players are pretty horrified when they see me coming to boost my triple digit score for the round. I dish out the horror, baby!
Also, I'd have to say my math skills have improved. 64 combat points + 48 support points - 8 points for a Teamkill = 104 points for the round.
In addition, my typing skills have never been better. Have you ever tried to type "I Just PWNED you dude!" while taking Blackhawk fire?

Is there a hipE
out there among us? J/K No really though, BF2 really doesn't do the whole thing a 100%. For that you can play America's Army. Either way both of the games are great recruiting tools. And the console version of America's Army is aimed even more at the kids. It will all work itself out in the end; I mean most of the hipEs have to be dead by now anyway!

Someones got to help me. I haven't been able to play this game for weeks. My game keeps crashing to the desktop when I start it. I've updated my video and sound drivers, I've messed with overclocking and underclocking, I have the newest patch and its still not working. My card is an NVIDIA GeForce 5600.
