It took about an hour of bumping into that "Cannot calculate tax" error, but my order for the premier "Sports" bundle finally went through. I'm guessing that they fixed the problem, and then if you had a system already in your cart and entered your payment information fast enough, you got a system.

I'm guessing there's some web programmer at Best Buy right now who's getting an earful from his bosses.

True, but I don't see prices next to them. That could pose a problem.

DEAD at BB, that was quick....I actually went there on my lunch break for movies (they were actually setting up the 360 setup there)

This has to go down as one of the worst pre orders I've ever tried to be a part of. What a rip!

Oh boy did they get a nasty letter from me. And it was not just an angry fanboy venting. I can't wait for the response.

I signed up too late for Reward Zone to get the email (not that it matters now) and see that pretty much every pre-order is sold out at this point. Is that correct? (short of the $2000 versions)

They'll send you the same automated garbage they sent me, so you'll just have to do like I did,

"No it didn't answer my fucking question now please go read my original email and stop wasting my fucking time"

I'm so angry I could burst. I tried to log on right at 10a and couldn't, called customer support and was told to wait 2 hours, now they are all gone. I don't know if an angry letter will help me to get a 360, but it can't hurt. Anyone have the email for a big-wig at BB?

that is funny. Every day, hell every hour has a different figure thrown around.

I just called the Gamestop that I preordered with back in August and she said that I am 23rd on the list. She said they would have final shipment numbers tomorrow, but she was guessing that I would be on the "3rd week" shipment. I have already paid mine off so maybe I will get lucky and some youngsters ahead of me won't be able to cough up the balance.

Funny thing is I was going to get a premium, madden, & and extra controller. Worked out great for me. My condolences to other RZ members... that was a pain in the ass, and don't understand why I was a "select" RZ member... I bought a TV last year with a Best Buy CC (& got the RZ membership for free), but that's really my only big purchase there. Maybe it has something to do with having a Best Buy CC?

Why was the expected ship date listed at 11/19 ? Can they ship them before them before
the 22nd? Reason I ask, is I'm a Netflix customer. On several occasions, they've shipped me DVD's the day before their release date .. Obviously, I wouldn't get it until the release date because of transit time, but does the same apply to the 360?

That's a good point. I have a Best Buy credit card as well, and I was among those who got that e-mail.

I don't have a Best Buy CC and I got the email.

I don't have a BB CC, and I got both this and the PSP preorder emails. So maybe it's for people with CCs or that buy a lot there? Or maybe it's just as random as those 10% off preferred member weekend mailings they mail out... sometimes I get them,sometimes I don't. For the people that didn't get the email, do you get other mailings from BB?

I was going to go for the top bundle to get the double reward zone points, but the shipping was a lot more than the bundle with just the premium system, Madden, and the controller. So I decided to save the money up front on shipping instead of waiting for reward zone coupons. It's amazing to me that an extra game and accessory can almost double the shipping cost...

And yes, I bought into they hype... again.
