You can also use Windows XP SP2 with the Media Connect software to access some content. That's what the Canadian guy you linked to did.

Yah, just use Windows update on your home machine if you haven't already. It's one of the recent updates for XP. I upgraded last week for the launch.

I REALLY like the idea of having FREE demos to download. That is a GREAT feature. As for the Points system, not sure how much I liek it. I would rather just pay as I want it, not have to buy points over LIVE or in-store. $5 for Gauntlet though might be tempting.

GameRush doesn't offer one, so probably not. I might buy one from MS....we'll see how much it costs.

Also, disappointed in the NBA 2K review score....I'll have to read it when I get home. I really want an NBA agme this year, but both sound half-assed attempts.

It blows my mind that people are selling their preorder on E-bay for 600+ bucks. $$cha-ching$$. I could sell my preorder now & make 300 bucks.... wow.

You've got to think many people are hoping to get one on the 22nd... those that don't will make their next stop on E-bay. How much will they be going for then? 800+ before Christmas??

I'm going to try to buy an extra one on launch & sell it; if the prices get that high, I may even sell my own. I've looked forward to 360 for awhile, but I can't justify throwing away 400+ bucks in profit. I'd take the cash & buy one next year...

Worst case, I'd probably sell it at cost & keep my own. Poor me!

Does anyone know if you can share AAC files with Media Connect?

You can't.

Regarding NBA2k6, the reviews for the XBox and PS2 versions were pretty mediocre as well, yet the XBox version is easily my favorite NBA game ever. It plays really, really well, but it does take some getting used to. I'm chalking up the reviews to that.

What about it reading files stored in my Itunes directory? I heard it won't read those mp4 files that Itunes rips music to?
