okay man I will be on tonight so with Buzz and BeanDip that makes three can anyone else commit to the 9~12 EST time slot...........in other news BeanDip got the UC2 Demo so Buzz if you're willing I'd like to try my hand at that tonight as well, unless there are a good number of clan members on then it's Halo2 all the way. It's been like a week since I've played so I may be a bit rusty.

So the spoose is most likely going home this weekend until tuesday. Since I am allergic to sunlight like the kids in 'The Others', I should be consistently on from saturday morning until tuesday.

Great story from last night - rumble training, and there were 3 guys on one xbox, and they were very french. And they wooped my arse. However, once I determined I had no chance, I turned on my headset and would just run away from them, into walls, yelling "je surrender! je surrender!"
I had never been triple tea bagged before. Interesting perspective.

I'll do what I can to be on tonight. It may be more like 10-10:30 "Indiania" time though. Fun games last night with Pete and gang. Where does he find these I'll never know. I wished Martin was on when we played "Fight Club" on King-of-the-Hill. I'd got that can of "Whop Ass" out! That was my first time and I was laughing so hard I had to unplug the mic. Now if I can just get that 'Pile Driver' down.

Yes we must all give it a go on UC2. Don't know when. We can try to this weekend. I haven't played it this whole week so I need to catch up. Saturday and Sunday night looks the best. Got to go to work Sat. morning so no late Friday night.

Finally, TJRMental broke down and bought Strange a 1 year subscription with his mysterious Best Buy connections. Sorry I didn't make on last night. I tried to stay awake but I think I crashed about 9. You can blame Bean and "Pete" from the night before. Ok Martin I'm not sure how I can help out on UC2 yet. To be honest I haven't made it online yet. I get the feeling those are not your normal Unreal fans. They've probably got all the moves down they can play in their sleep. I'm trying all the adrenaline powers and see what they can or cannot do and when it's best to use them. That "Warrior Spirit", "Predator" and "Wraith" mode is flat far out! The 60's psychedelic all over. At first I started out in 3rd PV and liked it. But for shooting FPV is better. It's just going to 3rd, determain a adrenaline power if needed and be on the defensive all within a matter of a few seconds. I've found 'speed' and 'all shield' to be the best.

I'll try to venture on tonight for a short time. This weekend though we all need to hit it. Maybe get three or four on UC2 as well..

Sorry guys I didn't make on Sat. night. I've been struggling with my DSL connection for the last 4-5 hours and it just got back on 15min ago. I swear the NCCA tournament that's five miles from here had something to do with it. When the Titans (football) play on TV I have the same BS connection problems then to.

Well I hope ya'll did ok. Oh you'll have to get TJ and Cannis tell you about the "Marathon Bomb" game from Thursday night. Actually it's a new tactic called "Bore Them To Death". All you have to do is drive around and kill or be killed but never try to plant the bomb for like ..43 freaking minutes!! I'm not sure but I think it was getting to TJ so much he was just going to start killing everyone including us.

Will try again Sunday night and yea UC2 is still on.

I read in the Bungie cheating thread (I think that was where it was) about a group of guys who played a 9 HOUR game of assault. One of the teams simply kept the game in sudden death the entire time waiting for the other team to quit; which they didn't. I don't know which is worse; the team taht hid with the bomb, or the team that refused to quit...

Yea, I was happy that the game only last 45 minutes as I have also read about them going for hours. Good thing that these guys were new to cheating as they could not get their guy to stand on the banchee right to get him up to the roof to camp. Think it was Buzz who finally killed the guy with the bomb when three of us rushed over to kill him and the guy in the banchee.

The sadest part was they had him up there once, but the fool droped the bomb off the edge when I started to shoot at him. Not like my smg's were gonna kill the guy from 150 feet away. He must have forget that he had the bomb in his hand and pulled the trigger to shoot me. rotfl

We must have pissed them off when we scored on them so easily in the first round. The best part of the game was on our second round of offence hearing one of them say "their all in the base again, and their going to score... We're screwed!"

Yea, I was losing it near the end of the round when I could not get the guys to understand what I was talking about. What is so hard about understanding "their going to go up to the roof, on the otherside of the map"? My anger must have been contorting my thoughts to non-understandable words that spewed from my mouth at a very rapid pace.

what a bunch of jerk-offs, people are finally exploting the "sudden death" thing. i really think that instead of just banning the cheaters from Live, it would be cool if they could take away the multiplayer part of the game all together and see how the cheating bastards like it then. ah that would be awesome some cheater starts up the game no more xbox live option, and no system link option.

Dude, I couldn't see where you were! When you say "the other side of the map", I have no idea where you're referring to. Add that to the fact that there are at least three buildings that they could be on top of, and you had me all confused. But I swear I was trying to find them! Don't teamkill me! :D

Yea, like I said, I could have better explained myself. I just figure everyone reads about cheats and watched all the videos of the ways to do them like me. Based on that idea, the words that I was spewing from my mouth seemed like fine directions.

you know guys I'm actually sort of glad there are people out there pulling this kind of crap because if it was always a really good time playing Halo2 on live and everyone played fair and kids were respectful, I can't imagine that I would still have a job today. What would keep me from playing all day and all night every day. So you see fellas we all need these cheaters and shit talkers to keep our lives from spinning out of control, you should be thanking them. :D

They need to fix sudden death. Probably can't be done in Halo 2, but for Halo 3, they should limit sudden death to mabye 5 minutes tops.

If you enter sudden death, and can't score in 5 minutes, round over. Too bad... so sad.
That would stop all these wankers from hiding with the bomb hoping that the other team quits.


The funniest thing about that game was the one guy that kept coming over saying "I know where the bomb is. I'm sick of this game. I want it to end. Follow me and I'll show you where he is."

Like we are all going to go "okay.." and follow him leaving our base defenseless so they can score.
Miyu did follow, just to be curious. And when they guy realized that only Miyu followed, he said "guys, it didn't work. they all didn't follow me."

Did they just start playing Halo?

But that second round was classic when they realized our scoring was inevitible. Not that we needed it, we scored on the first round and held them off. It more proved a point and rubbed it in their faces. :)

i'm all for them fixing sudden death, to um just plain death of the other team. but that is just me. we had some people do something like that to us the other day, it was on burial mounds and the guy was on top of the rocks behind our base. i'd like to know how the guy got up there in the first place.

Beandip, if you have the guy stand against the wall where you find the non-human sniper rifle and run into him with the hog he will fly up in the air onto the rocks above. From there he can just walk around to the area to plant the bomb.

I had my daughter try it with me for a while a couple days ago, and finally got it to work. Only way to stop the guys is get the hog and put one of your guys up there with a sniper rifle so that you can take him out.

You’re more than welcome to stay with us, but if you want to play more competitively the "Let Us Win" guys are better off for that stuff.
