I think everyone was trying to figure how in hell Duster got that many seconds. You couldn't get a 1/2 second much less 1. I'd say Team Fight Club would be a good one or pistols only. Or just melee with Bazooka barrels...Yea that's the ticket.

Uh, isn't that what we played? Granted, it was only 30 seconds, not 1 minute, but it was still non-moving hill in the middle of Midships with rockets. 30 seconds is about right to me. It starts to get old after 20 minutes or so. :)

The sniping thing could be interesting.

Yes. Usually I run it at 1 minute to win, but since we had 12-13 people, I set it to 30 seconds to win.

We tried the snipers and rockets last night, but I don't think it worked too well.. Though Miyu loved it because he didn't have to run around meleeing people, he could just sit back and snipe people.

Maybe I could make it snipers and pistols... that might make things a bit more challenging. Snipe out as many people as you can, jump in the hill. Pistol kill anyone close and hope you don't get sniped while gaining time.

I enjoyed the game a good deal more with the snipers as a secondary weapon for a couple reasons. It allowed me to practice actually sniping people while not doing a sniper game - when we do sniper games i get killed so quickly i don't get to practice - this way everyone was focusing on something else so i could try to line up a moving shot. While i hardly ever try to get in the hill it didn't seem like it lengthened the game for the hill people any since it is easier to kill them with a huge rocket than a sniper.

Pistols and snipers might be interesting as well, i might have to add snipers to the Pistol the Hill game i have on my machine.

so I hate the "Flag Chaos" games I don't know why they seem so much different than regular capture the flag to me but they do, it really pisses me off. :)

Man I apologize for last night. I didn't see the "invite" till I went in to turn the system off. I had turned the game (UC2) on but then dinner was ready. Afterwards the misses wanted me to check out "Career Builder.com" for her. (She's looking for a new job) Then I sat down to catch CSI and it was lights out for me.

I won't be on tonight (work in the morning) and tomorrow night we're to go out (big fair going on). I'll check in hopefully 9-10 central.And yes Martin you can shoot me in the face again.

aww.. Flag Chaos is evern more awesomer then Rocket the Hill.. What's not to love about it.. Its Capture the Flag, but you can drive a vehicle while holding the flag. Just imagine seeing a ghost trying to run you down with a huge flag sticking up from it. Priceless!

Good games over the weekend, guys. I'm liking the flag chaos. I enjoy an OCCASIONAL game of Rocket the Hill, but I think we should shorten it to 30 seconds. One minute just takes forever. I think a snipers/pistols game would be good. That's one that pops up in Team Slayer from time to time, so it would be good to practice.

Martin, nice Team Slayer games yesterday. Got me from a 6 up to a 15. So it doesn't look like I suck quite so bad now. :) This week, I'll work on my Team Skirmish skills. :)

Oh, and Martin and I were talking yesterday about the great clan schism. What would people think about reuniting the clans? How many people do you guys have that are still "active" members? We joined up with the Bulletproof Mercs (Jalth, General Fault, etc.) after their clan dissolved, but we could always use more bodies, er, team players. :)

Nah let's play more TS it's really my favorite and I think we can level up pretty hardcore if we get the right guys to play with maybe grab Czarcastic and Doug and tear shit up;)

I personally have no problems with merging the clans back together, I had the most fun playing Halo2 with the original DVDtalk clan V1.0 and we really don't have many guys that would need to be moved over, so do you want to move into ours or do you want us to join Let Us Win?? I don't suppose it really matters but it would need to be noted that Let Us Win becomes the official DVDtalk clan if we merge into it. i just checked out microsoft's site for the 360 i think there are going to be a lot of people going killtacular on their ass for not giving the core system a hard disk. i mean :wtf: WTF. i'm a poor college student i'm glad the bank of MARTIN5 will loan me some money for a nice new 360!

Did anyone notice me login last night? it was wierd I logged on and had no one on my friends list or clan, but my recent players stuff showed up anyhow, I had a DVD to watch so I ended up doing that instead but I was wondering if anyone else was having problems.

As far as the Xbox 360, I think I'm gonna wait for Halo 3 to come out before getting it. None of the games coming out have impressed me enough to warrant a purchase.

We had a couple of glitches last night. ZDoug kept getting dropped from the party, and at one point, got dropped during the game, joined back in (custom) and at the end was listed twice in the postgame lobby. It was weird. His mic icon lit up on both Doug's when he talked. Weird!

Mediacom has been screwing with the stuff, they probably got some other idiot working there who is new. My download rate went from 1.2 around 1 in the morning to 6.9 around 6AM. Real nice. Along with that Mediacom has some crap going on where the Windows Messenger Server (NOT THE IM PROGRAM) is sending out mass amounts of network messages? Idiots! I called and bitched at some poor reject in Tech Support the other night after I got kicked off XBox Live 3 times in a row. He was like well Sir I think you may have a problem with your router, I said you know yes, yes I do have a problem, it is blocking the 400 a min ping request that you morons have going on in your system so of course I'm having problems would you like me to send you a security log? I ened up calling the kid an asshat and telling him I bet the people with DSL didn't have to put up with this kind of shit!

As for MARTIN5's problems I'm 99.9% sure it is because of his room mate. And since they live so close to me his room mate is probably screwing up this side of town's Internet service.

MARTIN5 needs to take the resent switch out of his router and then set it up. Keep his room mate off line while Halo 2 time is going on.

He's moving out tomorrow so you're all welcome to come to my house for a huge party. No longer will I have to come home and be like "hey why's my shit all messed up". LoL it's funny though he'll have to pay for his own internet access now because his new GF is a hippie and she has no need for such technology, shit I bet his connection is down more than it's up...RESET RESET!!!!!

LOL that's awesome..........you need to get on more, the custom games we end up playing when there are too many people online for big team are always my favorite :) I especially love playing USA Vs. Viet Cong on maps like Turf and Ascension, and any game with sniper rifles although when Czar is on I spend way too much time trying to make sure I don't fall victem to his head shots........I'm getting better, I just need to remember I didn't play the game for like three months.

Yeah Czar is just plain mean altogether, I joined up in a friendly game with him and canis yesterday that said "No Killing" and about five seconds after getting into the map he stuck me with a plasma grenade.....I was sad:(
