Here's a really cool free online game. It's an arcade-stlyed platform action-RPG, much like Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Sega Genesis. So far it seems like you need to get with people you know in order to group since most of the players are.. special. But I guess that's the price you pay for free online-gaming. No, wait a second, I paid for Xbox Live and it was all morons too.. damn.

It is free for now, and may stay that way. They plan to make money by opening a "Cash Shop" in the game where you can buy special items to make your character more unique (you'll notice very few appearance choices in character creation.. this is why).

Downloaded this last night and played around with it until it crashed (which only took about five minutes). A couple screenshots:

Yeah I had one crash, maybe two..? I'm thinking it is only once. But I've played a LOT this week. They're still in beta phase as well, so I guess that's to be expected.

Oddly enough, Shagrath was taken, so I had to go by my alternate, Dunebuggy. I would play with you guys tonight, but I'm working.

Just made Warrior today.. Almost doubled my HP when I made the class change. The monsters are a little hard over by Perrion, so when I get enough money, I'm gonna take the taxi back over to Henesys, so I can stay alive.

The west exit of Perrion is evil. The east exit is okay though.

This game's kinda cute, and it's free [for now] which is a bonus. Kinda like a graphical mud.
Is there a 'who' feature, or do you have to know whom you're looking for? Can you change channels at random,and not lose experience/advancement? I guess I could just try it and see ; )

The game keeps crashing on me... with an unspecificed error

I was getting an error too, on my computer, Error -24804987354564 or something, as soon as I tried to run the game. I chalked it up to my computer sucking. Installed it on my wife's machine [which has better specs], and no problems.

Whee!! Level 21.

Looks like fun. Just created an account, downloading the client now and will create a character.
