Hey, any of you guys still playing this? The game went live last week I think it was. Still fun, still playing here. If you didn't check it out before, go try now.

I think I'm going to finally give this game a shot. I'm a bit of a hermit and need to socialize in gaming a bit more and this might be a good way to start. Plus I've tried to get into MMORPGs before and I just can't seem to do it and with the 360 around the corner I want to know if they are something I really want to spend the cash on. I bought the PS2 HD just for FF and played it only a bit and canceled before my free trial was up.

If you are looking for some strategies and character creation info, go to Sleepywood there are how-tos and FAQs on everything there. It's also pretty good for setting up auctions and selling things you find in the game.

No funny screenshots right now, but by coincidence I started playing this again a few days ago. My account was gone, so I had to recreate.
Fun little game. Quite polished for what it is. Plus, you can't beat the price.
Check it out if you like side-scrollers and/or MMORPG games.

I played for a bit last night and it was pretty good.
I have to say that they sure have some morons playing the game. I went to their forum to read about a few things and there are a bunch of people who were asked to trade items with people by just dropping them on the ground instead of using the trading interface in the game. When they dropped an item some ran over and stole it and they realize it is a trap setup by the other trader and a third "conspirator". They whine of the forums asking for the person to be banned. I agree people like that should be banned but people need to think a bit more. If there is a way to trade in the game....it's most likely there for a reason.

I see Scania and Bera as world choices. Which one is everyone playing on?
Edit: Okay, so I have a L8 magician on Scania called Morfane.

By the way, anyone who's playing this game with a keyboard... yikes. Don't do that. I have a PlayStation controller adapter from Radio Shack... doesn't include a keyboard mapper, so I found this little free utility called JoyToKey. I've mapped the shoulder buttons to mini-map, skills, and inventory, the face buttons to attack, primary magic attack, pick up, and jump, select to equipment, and start to world map. It's a lot easier than remembering 90 different keys.

yeah, the more spells you get the keyboard gets harder. Not to mention, when I play a few hours my wrists are so cramped. I just bought a saitek (i think that is manufacturer) game controller with a macro recorder and mapping software $20. It helps so much. This game is too addicting.

I played this game in the beta, and when they did the new release (with Scania and later Bera), I jumped in again because they were offering double xp for the first week or so. I got hooked again pretty quickly with that, and now have a lvl 31 cleric named Rizzen on Scania. My wife also plays quite a bit, and she's got a couple characters, her best being a lvl 37 Swordsman, I believe.
It's a fun little game, and again, you can't beat the price.

the double xp was great and drops were great. I got my cleric to like 32 before it ended. I now sit with a lvl 37 cleric (ThomasObrien), lvl 27 magician going to be fire wizard (majikjules), lvl 16 thief going to be assassin (SinEater) and a lvl 19 warrior going to be swordsman (blande). All of these chars are in Scania.
