I got it for PC and i have to say that it its mediocre at best right now.

Graphics are not too good, obviously a direct console port.

Gameplay seems rough.

And i'm having super lag consistently..

extremely disappointed so far.

got my copy at CC + 10 dollar Gift Certificates. Can't wait to get home and play. Cool the game comes with a 2 month free trial to XBox Live.

if the "endor shootin' ewoks" level is the xbox level included on the dvd release, i will be satisfied for the time being.

I liked the fact that we were both somewhat doubting our sanity. I wanted to play a demo of this so bad so i was scouring the net for codes on the new Xbox demo disc and everything. Luckily Groucho was there to assure us both of our sanity and remind me to practice reading comprehension.

I picked it up at Frys today along with the trilogy. I played co op with my buddy on his big screen and it is a lot of fun. You can drive or fly anything that is on the screen. Also blasting jawas is fun.

Just got on live for the first time tonight and immediately had a teammate squish me with his AT-AT walker. Pretty funny really.

I do keep getting an icon in the lower right quadrant of my screen that looks like a network cable being unplugged - but my game doesn't slow down or anything, i'm not hosting the game, and i'm on DSL. Any ideas? Is it signifying i have a bad connection to the host or what?

Also, we have to organize some dates and times or at least a big list of people who are playing it on Live so we can get some dvdtalk action

Is anyone else having problems with this? Every time i try to quick match this evening it times out and tells me there are no games. I try to optimatch and it times out joining the session again. I ran a speed test online and it says my dsl connection is pretty hoppin so i'm very confused as to what is going on.

It is extremely frustrating.

i think it flashes when your signal drops. Just pause it and you can turn it off on the menu.

I was thinking about getting this but, after playing the demo on the trilogy disk I think I am going to pass. The graphics suck on the xbox version. I'll play the demo a bit more but, I may have to try the PC version demo to see if it's any better.

My one word review so far is: lag.

I only played about 10 games tonight and every single one of them lagged. It's not really a lot of fun when you can't shoot anyone because they lag out of the way.

My evening ended with a hard lockup on the Hoth level. I decided to call it a night.

So far I'm not too impressed...

Don't judge by the demo, it looked like crap which scared me. I bought the xbox version today and its amazing both graphics and gameplay. The key to get a good room with no lag, some games i played were choppy as hell, others played perfect. I don't know if i have ever had more fun playing a game. The battles are huge, and you really feel apart of the action.

Oh, I also don't like that I can't seem to tell when I'm fighting a human or a bot.

Some indication would be nice. If it's there I haven't seen it.

Doesn't the game put a name over human players when you aim at them? I saw that the host can turn this on or off when setting up his/her room.

It's the 1st day so everyone and their mother is on. I think it's going to get better.

First day will indeed have massive lag because everyone is on it and the name identification is indeed server side option.

What worries me about this is wondering how it will be when Halo 2 comes out because good Lord there will be way more people than on Battlefronts.

So would ANY body recommend this game for someone who is not on XBox Live... Yep, I don't have it and have been wanting a SW shooter forever. Everything I read says single player is worthless. Is there any hope?

I am in the same boat...they don't offer DSL in my area so I think it would be pointless to get the game...Everything I have read has said there is pretty much no one player game. It sucks because I think this game would be cool. Damn Rural Areas!!

I'd like to know as well. I would only get it for the 1 player aspect, but if it's useless, well then I'm out of luck.

I have been playing single player and found it to be pretty tough on the hard difficulty.

The campaigns seem short, but definitely worth it in my opinion.

You can always wait for Republic Commando. That is supposed to be a true FPS.

The gameplay itself 9/10 Controls, fun factor, everything is amazing.

Menu screens, lack of friends/clan lists, bad servers is really frustrating though.
