And, once again, I can't participate.
Near the end of the A.I. game, the core players were given free passes to see the movie at select locations. None of them were near Cleveland, sadly.
But it should be one hell of an event, so if you can make it to any of these locations (and you have the moxy to get in
), I heartily encourage it.

I was able to attend the event in Chicago.
They played a audio clip and then randomly selected folks to play multi-player Halo 2. I was selected to play on the theater big screen on Live with the other cities. Can't say that I am great player though. I heard them call out KirstenS later in the night. They also gave away copies of Halo 2 and X-Box Live.

I was at the S.F. location.
Event was held 3rd floor at the Metreon:

Some people were pretty serious about this, heh:

Kristen Rutherford, who played the voice of Durga. Had a nice little chat with her, she's a cutie:

They had an 8 person LAN set up for gamin':

Buzzzzz:

Freebees, gotta love em!

I'll post some in game videos for you guys in a bit. The multi-player rocked!

I was hoping that it would have the website on the disc also.
I enjoyed listing to the creepy sounds on the site.
I saw some folks with some cool I Love Bees shirts. I checked on the Cafe stores but didn't see any black t-shirts. Does anyone know where to get those?

I seriously kicked ass, and that made me feel a whole lot better about playing on Live. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hang in there with the big boys.No copies of Halo 2 for me, but I'm just happy I got to play, got the ilovebees DVD, and got to hang out with the crazy beekeepers at Denny's until 2 in the morning. Much fun last night. I can't wait until Tuesday!

I was reading on the other forum that you guys were looking for a internet connection. I should have come up. I was carring my wireless WAN card for a laptop. I can't say that I did to well playing on Live last night but it was fun.

Anyway, after watching those vidseos I have a feeling the online mulitplayer stuff is NOT going to be fun for casual video game players. I'll bet the "hardcore 'Tards" will dominate and take away the "friendly competition/just having fun" aspect out of it like they do in Rainbow Six 3 and Jedi Academy.

That's great. That would've been my tactic, too.I even use those tactics while playing unrelated games. I went up against some friends in a Mechwarrior multiplayer game at a Dave & Buster's. At the start, everyone else ran toward the middle and hammered away at each other. I ran backwards, stayed behind some rocks, and just kept launching missiles into the fray. By the time they found me, I had racked up like 8 kills and had taken no damage. They swarmed me for the rest of the game.
