The people on the Bungie forum seem to be quite into conspiracies I think from their replies to the Ilovebees thing

This appears to be the work of the people who did The Mystery of Evan Chan (the promo for the A.I. movie.) That was an <i>incredible</i> experience. In fact, it had very little to do with the movie - and the story concluded several weeks after the film opened. The story behind it is one of the best I've experienced, in any medium.

So I heartily encourage everyone to jump on board and start reading.

One anagram-inspired translation I read said a Halo 2 demo is supposed to be released that day.

I just read about this and now I'm really buimmed that I missed out on it. Grrr.

I'm guessing these are locations for the Halo2 demo? Probably mentioned in that long thread that was linked up above but I'm not about to go through 608 pages to find out.

Unfortunately, Frank O'Conner of Bungie has flat out stated in one of his weekly updates from a few weeks back that there will definitely not be a Halo 2 demo released prior to November 9th. This is due to the fact that Bungie's sole focus is on getting the game done in time for launch. Apparently, they just don't have the time to do one at the moment. It was a nice theory though...

One of the GPS coordinates is right by me. I guess I'll have to go check it out at 1:14pm on Tuesday.

Is there a fully converted list of locations available? I'd hate to have to sort through that entire thing.

Good question. We're calling it "Axon Day," because this mysterious AI program posted the coordinates and times with only the following message: "Axons go hot!"

Should be interesting. We've debated a lot about what may happen, but no one really has any idea. The people in this fictional story have implied that it will be something "very, very big."

Yep, <a href="http://qube.netninja.com/wiki/index.php?title=GPS_Locations">here</a> is a mapping of GPS coordinates to (rough) locations. The street numbers of the addresses are probably inaccurate, but should give you an idea of the general area.

Be sure to read up about the game before Tuesday - otherwise, you might not understand whatever happens at those coords on that day.
