I think just about the only game I've sat through and beat was Parappa The Rapper.

For me, the first one to come to mind is Breakthru on the NES. I could get through it one car without getting hit at all. I was very proud of the fact that I could.
Then one day my friends and I went to an arcade and they had the big box version (which I had never seen before) so I popped in a quarter and blew straight through it. A crowd started to gather. It was quite cool. After I finished the game, some little kid took my remaining credits and was out of lives in no time.
