I read somewhere that Sony and Nintendo will be doing their conferences talking about their portable gaming units on Tuesday night... can't find the info on the E3 page though.

The majority of videos shown in conferences are on the floor. There is that rare one or two that don't make it but you'll see it covered online. It's really difficult to juggle all the coverage for me every year going to the show and then figuring out what I missed and looking online.

Thanks for the replies on the E3 DVD...I don't remember exactly who offered it, but I guess I'll keep my eyes open for a similiar offer this year.

I guess my next question would be, for those of us who can't make the show, what would you consider to be the best site on the net that will be providing the best, up-to-the-minute coverage of E3? I'll be hitting my regular spots like IGN and Gamespot on a daily basis, but I don't know if they are necessarily the best at focusing on the announcements coming out of E3.

Sega to Co-Publish 'Matrix Online' Video Game

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The U.S. arm of Japanese video game publisher Sega Corp. on Monday said it has struck a deal with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to co-publish an online game based on the "Matrix" movies.

Sega of America said it would manage distribution of the game, while WBIE will oversee its development and operations and the two will jointly handle marketing. The game is expected to be released this November.

A console video game based on the "Matrix" films, Atari Inc.'s "Enter the Matrix," drew poor reviews from the gaming press but still sold millions of units.

When "Matrix Online," one of a class of titles known as massively multiplayer online games, was first announced, it was to be published by France's Ubi Soft Entertainment. Ubi Soft dropped out of the project earlier this year.

"Matrix Online" is being developed with input from the Wachowski brothers, who wrote and directed the movies and oversaw the Atari game.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is a unit of Warner Bros., part of Time Warner Inc.

Poor Sega.

Matrix Online looks terrible, based on the preview on the Revolutions DVD.

I think Gamespot was selling one as well.

You realize that it could be for Kingdom Hearts coming out on the GBA? I of course could be wrong, just my thoughts since it will be coming out shortly.

actually, Kingdom Hearts is coming out on a handheld as the lead in to kingdom hearts 2 on ps2.
