I was able to trade in PoP, Splinter Cell, and 3 Platinums at Target for Simpsons H&R, True Crime and the GTA 2-Pack. I love after Xmas exchange policies.

I received notification that MOH has shipped; the other 3 in my order are back-ordered.

There is no way they can charge the difference. Don't worry about it. The most they can do is cancel orders that didn't ship.

I just checked BB site to see what the current status was and if you put PoP in your cart you can select Splinter Cell for free, although the Xbox Splinter Cell is nowhere to be found on the site. The Platinum games all came up at regular price once they were added to the PoP cart.

I had placed 2 orders with BB, one with the $5 Splinter Cell and 13 platinum hits for p/u at the store and the other, PoP with free Splinter Cell plus 13 platinum hits for p/u at the store (4 games were on backorder for this order) just in case the first didn't go through. Only single copies of each platinum hits per order and orders were place 1 day apart.

I received confirmation emails for both orders about the same time, and both said they were being processed. The strange thing is, I got a p/u notification for the second order and I got all the games except for the 4 back orders and presell. What happened to the first order? This is the one that had all the games in stock for p/u but is still being processed. I was hoping the first order would be processed b4 the second bec I was going to cancel the second after p/u of the first order.

I hope the orders are't cancelled bec I still want the other 4 games I'm waiting for.

Gorgo, that is illegal, not to mention just plain wrong. I wouldn't be bragging about it in a public forum.

Dear Best Buy Customer,

Thank you for your recent order on BestBuy.com.

It may be unethical, but how do you see it as illegal. No one made the store accept his return and they gave him their going price for the games. They will just put them back out to sell.

Oh, my orders are still there, but I seriously doubt they will be there in the morning.

They ask you to sign in to get the 10% off. Im gonna just skip that and not sign in. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

Yes sir officer Trevor. Since when is it illegal to take something you bought on sale and exchange it at the same store for the regular price. Unethical yes. Illegal hardly.

Don't you have to sign in to place an order? If so then they already have your sign-in name from when they sent you the e-mail. What's the problem?

I got two emails... one for the cancellation (same as the others posted) and another saying that one more of the games had shipped (making four total shipped). The order status page on BestBuy.com hasn't changed at all--still showing three games shipped and six backordered--and I still have a credit hold for the remaining balance of my order on my debit card. At this point, I am exceedingly confused as to what is going on. I am still somewhat optimistic that the remainder of my order might be shipped, so I am not going to contact anyone at Best Buy to clarify things just yet.

Splinter Cell-Xbox
Dead to Rights-Xbox
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin-Xbox
Medal of Honor: Frontline-Xbox
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon-Xbox

If my friend already has any of them I would sell them to you at cost. no need for profit for me.

Of course with my email saying they were giving me 10% off I doubt either of us will be seeing any games.
