Finally got mine! It's cool, but I've yet to master the Kudos stuff. Anyways, I've got all you on my friends list, so I'll send an invite if I see you online. Even though I suck.

BTW.. if you haven't seen me online and you WON'T see me online recently.. it's because I was "forced" to move to another apartment and they will not have DSL installed for about 2 weeks.

Sigh.

I think you have to beat the game on Platinum to get Nurburgring. Or come in 1st place online when racing at that track.

The hardest car for me so far to drive is the Classic Ferrari TB.

Also I'd be interested to get anyone's input on what you don't like about the game, and which car you hate the most/you find the most difficult to control. So far the MK car has been the hardest for me....I've got about 220,000 kudos & I don't like the fact that there are no speed cones in regular kudos circuits, and that you can't use any car whenever you want in the kudos challenge section.
I like the MK-III - it's fun and easier to control than you think... I hate the entire AMerican Muscle series and the Corvette Stingray the most. I took a couple of steel medals just so I could get it over with.

Oh yeah. I hated that StingRay too. I think it's only good in a straight line. Anything more than half throttle makes the rear spin out of control.

ever watch the top ghosts for the American Muscle series? They make it look so easy to control.

I think its more of a challenge, in the past, you could unlock cars and come back to kudos challenge and do it easier, but do be confined to a series of cars is a challenge, I did find PG1 a challenge, but I completed all of it, this one seems more challenging in that it won't allow you to easily do any challenges with better cars from other series, which is right I think, as platinum should be difficult.

I just think the cone challenges are the most difficult, platnium cone challenges seem too hard.

Agreed, but still what makes it interesting, is how well can other players do with it, and if we had a sting ray race, it would be entertaining, it would be about making the less mistakes etc.

Spoiler:
All you have to do is beat the game, i.e. finish all the Kudos World Series tasks. Just did it last night, and I even had a steel medal. I was then able to host a game with the Nurburgring.

If you go through the kudos world series and all the arcade challenges at least at the steel medal level you will have unlocked all of the tracks and can use them when you host a session online.

I don't have a lot of gripes about this game and most of them have to do with finding a good session with decent people to race with.

I wish the developers had made it easier to use more of the cars in a race. It seems like only about a third of the cars get used on a regular basis and in some of the classes there is only one really good car. If I set up a session with one of lesser used cars then those who don't have the car unlocked can still race but the car is a ghost. Its difficult for them to race with it and for others to see it. To make things worse, once I set up a session using only one car, I can't change the car and have to start a new session to use a different car.

I finally got Nurburgring by accident. I joined a game where they were racing on it. Some where along the race, the host dropped out. But instead of getting booted out, I was the only person left on the track. So naturally, I came in first and unlocked the track. Very strange! But I'll take it any way I can.

Where are you guys? I never see any of you online any more.

Tandem this must be your favorite game because you were online all weekend! Like over 12 hours straight at one point!

Gotta hook up with you one of these days, I really liked your idea about car selection for online races.

I've been sick for a week so I haven't been able to get out and do anything else with my life. But you're right, I do love this game!

I realized how obsessed I am with PGR2 this morning when we had a delayed start due to an overnight snowstorm. Not only was I glad to get a few extra hours of playtime in, when I got to work I overheard two ladies talking about the drive in. One of them was saying how she took it easy and didn't slide around at all in her car. All I could think of was, "N00b! You can't get hardly any kudos driving around like that!" Good thing I didn't say it out loud or else I would have had to stand around and try to explain it.

Anybody play "cat & mouse" online yet? It's all the rage!!

This works well with an even number of players. You divide into two teams by picking like colors, say a red team and blue team. Then one of the players on each team picks a Cooper Mini, and the rest of the team picks Enzos or whatever fast car is available in the Ultimate class.

So the goal is to get your Mini across first, by the fast cars either protecting their own team's Mini or blocking the other team's Mini. Too fun.

With 8 players you could either do 4 teams of 2 or 2 teams of 4.

i propose a slight variation to the mini cooper race:

2 teams of 1 mini & 3 superfast cars

i think that allows for more strategy.

Yeah! I cracked the top 10!

Woo Hoo!

I'm currently ranked number 3 in the Sydney Cone challenge in the Ultimate Class (Rabbit77).

i think NFSUnderground is very good also. the big difference is that PGR2 has online play and that's a lot of the fun part.
