A funny thing was that my BB had a Diddy Kong Racing guide still for $2.99 and it rang up that way too.

Anyways, has anyone seen Final Fantasy:CC for $0.01 yet?

And, any extra copies of XIII or Hobbit?
Dunno about Socom II, I just decided to have the cashier scan it based on kuyax's earlier comments. NFS: U was a penny previously. The price of these guides do indeed go back to full MSRP after a while. Another example was when I saw Shinoibi and WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth last time at BB, and both rang up at $14.99 by now.

I might have an extra copy of XIII, if I had picked one up before. Yesterday, there was exactly one guide for everything that I found at BB.

Still full price, and if I have to guess, it will take this one a minimum of 3 months before the price will drop. All the other Square game guides, such as those for Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Kingdom Hearts, all took forever to drop in price.

DBZ: Budokai 2
Yu-Gi-Oh: Sacred Cards
Mario & Luigi
XIII
The Hobbit

Curiously, Socom II and Need for Speed: Underground both rang up $14.99. This proves that after a period of clearance the guide prices reverts back to normal.
If you can find an extra copy of Mario and Luigi, I'll glady take it off your hands

Blast! I went to my local BestBuy earlier today to check on guides, and they had NONE. They got rid of them all. I guess next time I'm near another BB I'll have to remember to check.

From cheapassgamer.com, there are also lots of penny guides available at EB and TRU.

I don't have my password to sign in there and get the full list, but TRU has a pretty impressive selection of guides usually.

I bought a few for a penny today: Counterstrike, Mission Impossible, Sphinx.
