Scheduling games
Hmmmm...I wonder if there's a good, organized way of scheduling games. I was on last night, but unfortunately nobody else was! That's to be expected, so if anyone has suggestions on how to schedule games, let me know.
Should we continue to do it by post, or should we exchange email addresses to request games?
Personally, this week I should be available for games Wed. evening (yes, Christmas), and Thursday evening.

Monday @ 10:30 PM EST Browns vs ??

Sorry I haven't posted anything yet. I have been out of town for the holidays. My gametag is BigOz and I will be playing as the Tampa Bay Bucs. I will try and be online from 6PM Till 11PM PST Mon-Fri this week and get some games under my belt. Hope to see you there.

AIM typically has been a huge factor in getting leagues to run smoothly, but the arrival of the Friends List should save even more time.
The most efficient method should be to set up a rough time via email, communicate via AIM just before that time to make sure everything's still okay for both, then hook up via the Friends List.
As someone who played in (and helped run) many DC leagues without AIM, it's just amazing how much easier everything operates on Xbox with all the proper communication tools. I can't calculate how much time I wasted trying to set up game start times via email only.

K.. I've had some connectivity problems lately, but I think I am all straightened out.

You can "sort of" interrupt a game. If you invite a player who's in another game, at least in the case of MechAssault, that player will see a yellow icon in the corner of his screen. If he chooses to drop out of the game he's in, he can accept your invite and the xbox will then prompt him to insert the correct game disc.
