I hope they change up the rules a little for Survivor 3. If it all goes as it looks it will, the next 4 weeks will have little suspense. All that remins to be seen is the order of expulsion and maybe if the last Kucha can win an immunity challenge or 2. Maybe if they had rotating tribe members or something the alliances wouldn't be as obvious.

I agree, they need something to break up alliances. Watching one tribe pick off the other is boring. Maybe they should give whoever wins immunity, 2 votes at tribal council. That would shake up the alliances and make it interesting.

Spoiler:
Tina, Keith, and Colby
would pick both of them off if they were the last five remaining. This is how I see it. Kucha will be desperate to change up the alliances as they are now. If the alliances remain then it would be boring, but the alliances cannot remain because everyone knows how the game is played so if a member of an alliance feels vulnerable then obvioulsy that member will seek a new alliance. This is when the game becomes real interesting IMO.

I hope you are right. Any change in the alliance would be welcome. Otherwise, it makes for boring TV IMO.

Just remember: Survivor will be shown on Wednesday for this week and next week (due to the college basketball NCAA tournament!)

Red Dog 03-14-01 10:04 AM

I predict that Alicia gets the boot tonight.

I think she scraped the dirt off her body and ate that. "Dirt lines" instead of tan lines. Gross -rolleyes-

Anyhow,

Yeah, I kind of thought he was funny, too. Although Jerri makes things more 'interesting,' I can't stand the b*tch, and wouldn't mind seeing her go. I think last year was edited to make you hate Richard. I hope this doesn't mean that somehow Jerri wins. :yack:

Am I the only one that wants to take Elizabeth's stupid headdress off and burn it? Man, that fugly thing drives me NUTS! She's kinda cute, but has a build like a stick.

They said Richard would never have won if he were in Survivor2. My guess is tribal loyalty goes out the door when Jerri ticks off EVERYONE. She gets the boot.

Patman 03-14-01 08:00 PM

Spoiler:
Still a very entertaining episode this week. From the get-go I thought it was going to be either Alicia or Jerri ("Nice kid, but way too loud.").

I thought the challeges were cool too.

Damn, Alicia is gone!

Still on auto-pilot for Ogakor. No defections.

Spoiler:
This really SUCKS that Jerri is still around

Jeraden 03-14-01 08:07 PM

That immunity challenge was totally retarded. They play it off as a skill game but it was basically luck of what order people drew their turns in.

Gandalf 03-14-01 08:12 PM

Spoiler:

Not a surprising episode. Everything went according to most predictions, although cbs tried to make it look as if it will swing the other way. Tina, Keith and Colby knew they have to take out more kucha. For them as a trio picking out all of Kucha works just fine for now. Colby might want to get some other allies at some point though.

I was hoping for
Spoiler:
Jerri to get hers, but I knew the game was being played. Colby was playing Jerri in the night meeting to see if Jerri would vote Tina off when the time comes. Ogakor tribe should make it to the end. Next to go will be Nick. Then it may become really interesting if there is a defection to vote off Jerri. I can see a Colby, Keith, Roger, Elisabeth, Tina alliance. Jerri would go followed by Amber.

It sure was strange how the challenges went this time around. Would this be a good example of Karma?
Spoiler:
Jerri winning the big meal challenge and then choosing Amber. Last time that happened in Survivor 1 that guy was later voted off. Also, then in the immunity challenge tonight it was Keith who defeated Jerri. I thought Jerri was going down after that, but Keith must have voted Alecia off and maintained the alliance. The Ogakors did set Jerri up to go eventually. I cannot wait to see that happen. She looked like she thought she was toast tonight. Heh heh.

nevermind 03-14-01 08:21 PM

Spoiler:
I think the next tribal council (2 weeks?) Jerri is gone unless she gets immunity. Ogakor now has a 2 person lead on Kucha, so they can "afford" to waste the bitch. May even go 6-2 (Amber is a suck-ass:))

zuffy 03-14-01 08:21 PM

Spoiler:
I hope Jerri gets voted off next week then Amber since she's basically Jerri's bitch

nevermind 03-14-01 08:40 PM

Spoiler:
I just thought of something else which could explain why Jerri didn't go today. Colby has that team in the palm of his hand. If he didn't make absolutely sure that Tina and Keith voted with them, then he'd be f*cked next time, because if he was involved in a tie-breaker, he'd lose. They know he's got 5 votes against him. Jerri or Amber is next, Amber only if Jerri wins immunity. This way Ogakor still has the "upper hand". Then Nick goes, then Amber or Jerri, whoever didn't go first. Then Elisabeth, leaving the final four of Colby, Tina, Keith, and Rodger. After that I don't know. Keith and Rodger seem to be getting close, and Keith and Tina ARE close, so Colby may be in trouble at this point.

Pudthai 03-14-01 09:05 PM

Spoiler:
I kind of think the final four will be: Keith, Rodger, Tina, and Elisabeth. I forgot about the tie-breaker rules. Now Jerri and Colby have several votes so they are in trouble. Maybe that is why Colby, in this episode, looked like he is playing this game in a daze?

Iron Chef 03-14-01 10:27 PM

I was hoping that
Spoiler:
Jerri
would have been voted off this week.
Spoiler:
I think that the remaining Okagor people are fooked

zuffy 03-14-01 10:55 PM

Spoiler:
I guess Colby played safe this week so Jerri and Amber think they're still an alliance. Colby said in the show that he's not gonna lose any sleep for lying to Jerri. Next week, Jerri should be gone unless she wins the immunity.

I think it will comes down to Rodger, Keith, Tina, Elizabethas the final 4.

Wormwood 03-15-01 12:07 AM

Btw guys, it will be a re-cap episode next week with never before seen footage. Not a regular episode, so if Jerri is voted off it won't be until two weeks from now.

clemente 03-15-01 01:40 AM

I don't mind all that much if
Spoiler:
Jerri
isn't voted off.

All I want is
Spoiler:
Elizabeth
to stay around. Once he/she gets voted off, I'll be done watching.

Patman 03-15-01 05:23 AM

I think it's either Nick or Elisabeth that will be gone (in 2 weeks). Once Kucha is down to 2, Jerri is gone because it'll be at least 4 votes (Tina, Keith, Colby, and either one or both of the Kuchas) against Jerri and then just 2 inconsequential votes (Jerri and Amber).

[Edited by Patman on 03-15-01 at 03:26 AM]

Gandalf 03-15-01 06:55 AM

It should be either Rodger or Elizabeth to be voted out at the next council. Their alliance is very dangerous, as is Tina and Keith's. However, the second one looks more difficult to break. Colby's chance would be to have Kucha voted out then ally with Amber and Jerri for to get out one of Keith or Tina. This way, in the final four he will have to compete only against one "real" adversary, since Amber and Jerri will never win this at the final vote. Actually Coby knows getting in the final three with Keith and Tina is not going to help him win, unless he gets immunity. Therefore he would want to have only one of them and some "bad character" (Jerri, Amber) for the final three.

Jeraden 03-15-01 07:38 AM

Whats 'bad' about Amber? Just cause she's friends with Jerri? I've never seen her do anything that would cause someone to dislike her in the final vote.

I think the whole thing basically hinges on Colby at this point, and he's in the drivers seat. If I was him, I'd truly align myself with Jerri and Amber, but make Keith/Tina think I'm allied with them. I think he's doing this, by openly showing friction between him and Jerri, nobody thinks he likes her. This makes Tina/Keith really believe that he's joined up with them. As long as they think this, they'll agree to vote off Liz/Roger just leaving their tribe left (since then those 3 would have the majority against Jerri/Amber). At that point Colby should turn on them and vote either Liz or Keith out next... whoever they think is more likely to win an immunity challenge at that point. Then hopefully its Colby/Jerri/Amber left. Its in all their best interests to leave Jerri as last, so it basically will come down to the winner of the immunity challenge. If Colby wins, he votes Amber off, and Colby wins it all. If Amber wins, she votes Colby off and she wins it all. If Jerri manages to win, she'd probably have to vote Colby off, making Amber win it all.

Jerri and Amber are witches

I agree with that for sure. It's very annoying to hear them scream. Jerri has annoying facial expressions too.
