At the beginning of the series, I was excited for what I thought it could be, but… meh. Not much happened, and it just fell flat all around. I agree that nothing has matched up to The Mandalorian. I’ll still watch Andor, though.

from google:
What is Obi Wan Kenobi a Jedis Return?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi's Return, a new documentary that showcases the making of the epic limited series for Disney+, will arrive September 8, or Disney+ Day.

It's a known factor that no matter the quality of the Star Wars film, the making of material is almost always excellent so this should be good.

Disney + has always released 1 hour making of documentaries a month or two after the season ends for their original shows.

just finished it last night
wish they had made Obi Wan leaving Vader alive be due to something like a shuttle full of stormtroopers showing up with an inquisitor or two and running him off vs him just being like "oh well, not like letting you live the first time caused any issues, this time won't either"
obviously he couldn't kill him but at least come up with something that doesn't make it look like Obi could have dealt a huge blow to the empire but didn't because he's a pussy

Just finished this after watching all but the finale of Andor. I'm guessing I'm not alone on this, but I find Andor to be way better. I think I watched them in the wrong order because after watching Andor, the acting and writing in Obi-wan seemed terrible to me.

Nah ... it was terrible before Andor came out.

I can't call Kenobi "terrible", it had some really great moments, but I agree that after watching Andor it's clear that stuff like Kenobi and Book of BF were painfully rushed. I was looking at my FB memories the other day and it was several years back that Andor was announced and they were likely working on the script for a while before that so I think that made the difference.
