Rest In Peace.

Wasn't a fan of his but did enjoy his voice work as Mr. Mxyzptlk on SUPERMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES.

And also on JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION.

Re: Gilbert Gottfried has passed away

Not as cool a story as meeting Gilbert Gottfried and definitely not as epic as making him laugh. But my wife and I were in Epcot during Christmas time watching the Candlelight processional. For those that don't know it's a religious Christmas production they have in the park that's reverent and joyous. They have a celebrity host/narrator that reads the part of the gospel about Jesus's birth and they have a choir and all that. My wife couldn't remember Gary Sinise's name so she said "Oh is Gilbert Gottfried the host tonight?" I immediately busted out laughing and said who? And then did my best GG impression:

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

So of course being the loving husband I am bring this up every time GG or the candlelight processional comes up in conversation.

Re: Gilbert Gottfried has passed away

I finally watched the Hollywood Squares clip and omg, that is epic. I love Tom saying if we run out of game time I am taking everyone out to drinks. Seriously, what an incredible clip, also....great line-up of stars who were participants in the game. RIP Gilbert Gottfried.

This is so random, but I remember when he put in a cameo on Married With Children, the episode where the cruise ship has sank, and he just happens to pop up as one of the cruise ship entertainers who ended up in the life raft. There truly will not be another Gottfried in my lifetime, such a unique comic/talent.
