Not only was the end reveal a shocker, but the teaser for the season had a doozy of a Debra as well!
The only thing I didn’t like was we don’t find out what happened to the people Ben saved. Even if it’s only a 30 second explanation it’s one my favorite parts of the show.

We got the recap (+) and the predictable love triangle (-). This show could do better.

I thought episodes 2 and 3 were strong follow ups to the premier.

I especially appreciated Ben’s reaction on episode 3 to the entire situation. It was past due.

Also, I think something is goin got happen from the conversation with the waitress. Something about her line of work and until next time.

So per episode 6:

Spoiler:

I called Ben meeting the waitress again. I’m okay he told her his first name, but could have done without the second.

My next theory is the “shady” organization Ian is in bed with will be back by her, as she’s kept tabs and is trying on her own to save Ben.

Not sure if anybody is still watching but I felt like the winter finale was good. Interesting challenge, although the focus was clearly on the extra layers.

Im still standing by my theory up thread that there will be a connection reveal in “present” time back at HQ.

Also, the production quality on this episode was top notch. Part of me wants know how they accomplished it (green screen), but part of me doesn’t want to know. It really seemed like they were in Egypt!

It looked like they were in Egypt because they were in Egypt. They shot on location.

I'm behind on this show, but catching up on Peacock. I'm on episode 12 of the 1st season about the trans daughter basketball player. Pretty powerful and heart wrenching episode. I know there are some people out there who don't enjoy these kinds of episodes and think they are preachy or that really stupid word, but I'm happy the show is tackling a topic that so many parents have been dealing with.

Just watched this most recent episode (season 2, episode 8, "Nomad") and it was really good. It was nice to have the on-location shooting (as Ben12 noted) with several different sites, as sometimes this show can feel a little closed-in (like that episode set during the LA riots). I definitely think there is more than meets the eye to Hannah, but not sure how soon that will all play out. It adds a nice layer of complexity to the Ben-Addison relationship which is still central to the show. I recognized the actress (Azita Ghanizada) playing the Egyptian woman in this ep because she was on the show Alphas from ~10 years ago.

No announcement yet on when the rest of season 2 will start airing.

The hit NBC drama, which previously aired on Wednesday nights, will return to NBC with the remaining episodes of Season 2 starting on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 10/9c.

The sci-fi series will then close out the season with a two-hour finale on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9/8c.

That's 5 more episodes to fulfill the 13 episode order.

The show returned last night for the backend of the season. The universe hates Ben.

Season (Series?) finale wrapped up things in a happy bow. Still would have liked Ben to end up with Hanna. She was a great addition to the season.

Looks like the writers intend for them to leap together, though I think their implication that “love keeps them together” is absurd.

I enjoyed the finale, but I spit out my drink when the "Butterfly effect accomplished!" message popped up on the computer. That was some amazing foresight by the programmer.

Next season will be interesting if there is one, but the Hannah episodes will be AWKWARD!

I assume there won't be any Hannah episodes since guest stars usually only sign on for the year.

Re: Quantum Leap (NBC) -- sequel series -- premieres 9/19/22

Finished up and have to say the season was strong. Really didn’t see the present plot unfold the way it did, although I did say there’d be a Hannah connection in the present.

A little odd they decided to put Ben and Madison back together so quickly. I felt the Hannah plot and connection between the two actors was much stronger. That said, talk about bittersweet.

The ending was pretty surprising. Reminded me a little of the penultimate Timeless ending with a big WTH.

Spoiler:

I do wonder if Hannah’s code didn’t work as intended since Ben didn’t swap back. However, what if it swapped back Sam Beckett?!

Wish they would stop doing this. Or at least wrap it up.

That’s really unfortunate. The show took a while to find its footing and voice, but really hit a groove with season 2. The Hannah storyline was one of the best I’ve watched in a long time and will certainly make this series stand out for me.

Still haven't started the second season - did it wrap anything up or did it end on a cliffhanger?

Bummer. Have the last two episodes to watch. I'll still finish them off.

It wrapped up the season two story lines but left a path for season three. This news is a shame. I'll miss the show.
