The baby will return as a full teenager (magic, powers, cosmic space rays with build in knowledge) or adult and have meta powers.
A lot of shows don't really like having young kids around that can't do anything.

But writers love a pregnancy storyline, so they repeatedly get themselves stuck with a baby!

The Flash told his team to grab all the stuff and get out as fast as they can.
Wouldn’t he be able to do that himself much faster then the normals?

Ok so they know barry is the flash , that he can travel through time and dimension and when he tell you something is wrong , that joe isnt supposed to be dead, etc, you dont believe him and act like he is crazy?... after all the things the team goes through? ...seriously?...
I read this on You Tube. And it's true. Everyone is acting a little odd and they know things like this have happened before. Why would they think he was doing on purpose. And the only reason they think he is losing his mind is because of a villain of the week and another from then future that says it is so without any proof.

They just need to end this show. It is not good. Even with some goof stuff, the rest is just trash.

The problem is this "crossover" has superhero characters I mostly don't care about. Black Lightning should have had a bigger role. Why anyone thought inviting Alex from Supergirl would draw viewers is out of their minds.

And now he can't dodge a punch that a normal speed human could do. *sigh*
Iris shooting Thawne in a timeline where he could have been like Berry to her is odd. If Thawne in the normal timeline came saying all that stuff they would think it's some trick.

ANOTHER lesson in don't let your enemies get away that are several times slower than you!
Of course, that is what they are going for. A BIT heavy-handed.

But when they do that emotional stuff with Superman and his love/obsession with Lois Lane being his motivation... no one complains. Well, I do. But I'm in the minority.

As far as humans hitting Barry, I thought it was clear he was de-powered and that they had weapons suited to deal with Speedsters because Reverse Flash Barry in this world was a villain.

The CW’s flagship DC series, The Flash, is headed to a ninth season. Star Grant Gustin is finalizing a new contract to return as the title character in the hit show, from Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, sources said.
I hear the pact Gustin has agreed to is for one year; a multi-year offer was on the table. According to sources, the new contract comes with a sizable raise for the actor whose salary is believed to be north of $200,000 an episode. I also hear Gustin has capped his involvement at 15 episodes next season.
With Gustin on board, The Flash is expected to be renewed for Season 9 by the CW and become the longest running Arrowverse series on the network, eclipsing anchor Arrow, which ended its run after eight seasons. It could be The Flash‘s final chapter.
The network usually picks up the vast majority of its current slate this time of year. Because of the potential CW majority ownership sale, the network may give early renewals to fewer shows this time, with The Flash fully expected to be on the list with continuing strong linear and digital performance.
There has been a lot of apprehension among The Flash fans whether Gustin would commit to another season, especially after Stephen Amell’s decision not to continue on Arrow at the same juncture led to that show’s end after eighth season. Because of The Flash’s great legacy at the CW, the decision had to be made before the series had wrapped production on Season 8 to give it a proper sendoff should Gustin opted to move on.
Gustin has spoken about his journey on The Flash as Barry Allen/The Flash, including these comments at the end of Season 7.
“Listen, I may never have a job this cool again, that this many people actually tune in to watch, so I’m not gonna take it for granted,” he told ET. “Seven [seasons] is it for most of the cast actually, but I think it would be great if we can continue after that.”
The Flash resumes its eighth season March 9 on a new new night, moving to the Wednesday 8 PM slot.

Damn... I was hoping this would be the last year.

And the show is currently on a 3 month hiatus after the 5 episode Armageddon arc. If they are doing a 20 episode season, they need to run 15 weeks non stop. I don't know if they have time to produce that many. Honestly, I didn't really care for this crossover. Probably the weakest one of the Arrowverse's existence.

So he is contracted for 15 episodes. They probably will do 20 and the main character won't be in the show. Those are the absolute worst.

Now they need to go for an entire ten seasons. If they do that they need to limit it to 10-13 episodes per season.
As someone said above hopefully they don't have twenty episodes about side characters we really don't need stand-alone episodes about. (Unless it's good)

From industry gossip, Gustin wants to remain the Flash as long as possible but keep signing one-year deals for maximum contract leverage. Expect a lot of Nora and Bart being the central characters going forward, the plan is for them to pick up the slack when Grant isn't around.
The Flash is a huge moneymaker and basically the CW's only remaining flagship show.

Re: The Flash (CW) -- Season 8 -- Premieres 11/16/21
I bought (and we enjoyed) the first 4 seasons of the CW Flash series so I went ahead and bought seasons 5, 6, and 7 when they came out, but The Flash hasn't come back up in the rotation so we haven't watched the 3 newer seasons yet. I'm starting to wonder if I made a mistake by trying to continue with this series based on all the upcoming crossover episodes and the fact that it's starting to sound like it might have turned into kiddie schlock (according to reviews I've read). I guess I'll see when we rewatch this series....
Are those crossover episodes standalone? Or do you have to have seen the other series to understand what is going on? I know there was one in one of the other seasons we've watched (don't remember which episode) that had us scratching our heads trying to figure out what in the hell it was all about...
And now we have Season 8 and even Season 9.
