"Saturday Night Live" writer Jimmy Fowlie is sharing an update on his sister, Christina Downer, who went missing four months ago.
In a lengthy statement shared on Instagram Wednesday, April 29, Fowlie said his family was informed by the Los Angeles Police Department that "Christina is no longer alive."
"Our prayers for her to be found safely have transformed into prayers for the truth to be revealed and for those responsible to be held accountable," Fowlie, 40, wrote along with photos of his sister through the years.
The Emmy-winning writer added that the family believes Downer's "phone and social media were compromised" weeks before she went missing, which they feel were used to request money and "create a false narrative that she was going 'off the grid.'"

Tommy Brennan the guy with the Matt Damon Good Will Hunting hairdo seemed like a lock to be gone after this season but maybe they keep the new guys and he has had more screen time lately.
It is early and they had a lot of defections and firings in 2025 and Lorne might not want that chaos again.
Dana Carvey was right when he said the cast was smaller in his era and it is a better show too with less people.
