I blew through the new season this weekend, great stuff, I really hope it gets renewed.

Great Second season, such a fun show. Love Jimmy and Kayla's interactions. Like that they left and have their own studio now, should make for good season 3which has to happen

i just started re-watching Broad City from the beginning and Jimmy plays Abbi's douchy boss at the gym.

Yeah i love Jimmy and Kayla She is so over the top but believable. And Jimmy being just so frustrated is hilarious.

Hacks win Peabody Award

Being an Always Sunny fan, I think Kaitlin Olsen is great on this show too.

He and his wife are co-creators and writers of Hacks and Broad City and his wife directed episodes for both shows.

Finished up S2. It was good... really enjoyed it.

I really like the back and forth between Deborah and Ava, and find the interactions of Jimmy and Kayla to be hilarious.
They should ditch Marcus. His character is so boring and I can just barely tolerate him when he shares the screen with Ava and/or Deborah. When he's on his own, the show screeches to a halt. I do not care one iota about this character and what he's up to.

I suspect Jimmy lying and telling Deborah (and the crowd at the Palmetto) that the guy who died was "OK" will come into play next season. Deborah and the team will get criticized for continuing the show after an audience member died (even though the only person who knew was Jimmy).

My appreciation for Jean Smart is like infinitely higher. Between this and Mare of Easttown, she has been brilliant the past few years. She is amazing.

I thought she was incredible in Legion on FX. I've always liked her best of all the Designing Women actors.

She was also amazing in WATCHMEN. She has been killing it on HBO.

she and Winslet were great in that show.

She was also great in S2 of Fargo.

I think this got the benefit of being one of the first exclusive shows on HBO Max and during the pandemic, so it built up a pretty good following.​​

I finished watching season 2 on Sunday. During season one, I complained about Ava being unlikeable, but I grew to like her.

Season 2 felt like a series finale for me. I would have been ok with it ending there, but I'm glad we're getting another season. I can't wait to see where they go next. This has been a fantastic series so far. It's one of the best tv shows of 2022.

Five seasons might be getting close to the limit unless she goes on the international space station.

Great news about it getting a third season.

Very late to the party catching up with season 2. Just posting something odd that happened in episode The Click. The language track switched to Spanish and I couldn't get it back to English. English track came back on when the next episode started. Weird, huh?

Regarding the show itself, it makes for a good binge. I watched most of the season last night while I was wrapping presents.
But my interest in what's happening drops if Deborah or Ava is not in the scene, and drops more if Deborah is not in the scene.

My favorite episodes were the cruise and the state fair. I liked how they showed Deborah coming to terms with the realization that she can't escape being who she is, and who she always was, accepting the positives of that for her career and the negatives of that for her family. Wonderful part for Smart with so many layers.

Oh well, that's my two cents on Hacks. On to explore the sex lives of college girls.

And after I'm done doing that, I'll watch some more TV shows!

what a truly well written, bitingly funny and sometimes sad show. The characters are just great and this was certainly a show that took me by surprise.
