I have a feeling that they are going to try to throw Kendal, Kelly Anne, and Ruthie in every elimination that they can, because those are the three strongest girls. Kendal won the only Challenge that she was on and she's currently undefeated in eliminations. Those are far and away the top three. Aneesa can't run a final and if I was Mark I would try my best to get her eliminated since she cost him the final in The Duel 2.

I saw that post the other day and just thought how much of a missed opportunity not having her on is.

I hope they'll have her on season 2 if there is one. She was on the list contacted for season 37, but six to eight weeks is probably too long for her compared to four weeks for All Stars. You know she's not getting eliminated. She's going to the Final.

I just started a Fresh Meat 1 rewatch, and I was reminded how much I loved Casey. I tracked down a podcast she did with Derrick last fall. Unfortunately he talked over her a little too much but I did love when she said that she signed up for MTV not ESPN. She then described herself in the challenge days as DTF. She also provided a Diem Fresh Meat detail that even Derrick didn't know. Diem's suitcase was so heavy because of the protein supplements she had to bring because of the cancer treatments. Casey said it was one of the reasons she volunteered to go to the Gauntlet against Ev after Coral quit because she heard Diem's name being bandied about and she had already thought her Fresh Meat elimination was unfair.

Those were the two lwhy had on spoilered for this that I was super excited for. Huge disappointment that they weren’t on it. Cooke is such a babe.

Why have Heather Cooke and Casey when you could have Aneesa and Jemmye?

I'm listening to that podcast right now while I'm working from home. Derrick is the worst part of Challenge mania. I like Scott much more than Derrick. I listened to the Kendal podcast last week. They're long interviews which I like, but Derrick rambles and says the same thing multiple times. Kendal's interview was over 2 and a half hours.

I loved some of Casey's little details. After the first couple of eliminations she and Wes were sneaking around the house to see how heavy everyone's luggage was. And why was Casey's bag so light...because she wanted to do some shopping in Australia but didn't want to bring an extra suitcase. She was also JB's original partner for Battle of the Exes, but she dropped out right before the show started b/c she decided she didn't want to do it. That's why they had to fabricate that "relationship" between JB and Camilla (the podcast got that wrong b/c they kept talking about Nany but that was BofE 2).

So glad that they gave a spot to Arissa who threw it away like that.
Man... they really made some bonehead decisions with the casting of this. Sure, it’s nice to have some “personalities” back, but for something like this, you need to have people who are actually competitors. So I’ll again say, not having Cooke, or another woman in reserve, on was fucking dumb.
ETA: Mark even says something similar to this on The Aftermath.
Since we are at about the halfway mark, I’m guessing a purge is coming.

Yeah they have to do a purge if this is just nine episodes. You don’t run a final with 14 people. Kendal and KellyAnne are the two strongest women followed by Ruthie. Kendal is probably going to get her name said in nominations often since she was only on one Challenge season and she’s a physical threat. She’s essentially the rookie of the group.
Arissa just looked unhappy, unhealthy, and frail, but she could have probably beat Beth.

I'm not sure Arissa could have picked up the ball much less thrown it and broken through the door. The only things I remember about Arissa was that she and Irulan looked a little too much alike to be cast on the same season, and she posed for Playboy.

Highly doubt it. This elimination is about brute strength and Arissa is bones. She just looks sickly and there's no way she was generating as much strength/force as Beth (not like Beth is amazing or anything but she's not a walking skeleton). Total joke that Arissa was cast in the first place frankly. Have to be 50+ more memorable competitors.
KellyAnne was looking hot this episode.

Two of the oldest cast members have now been eliminated. I’m watching the aftershow and they said Alton had shoes that were too small snd that’s why he had to keep stopping during the challenge. They apparently got him bigger shoes for the elimination. Aneesa might have eleven elimination wins, but she has no endurance. She was falling out at the finish line after the mini-challenge. Aneesa, Jisela, and Jonna might not make it through a full final.

It was nice of TJ to praise Aneesa for that win, but she had fuck all to do with that. I'm not sure if any challenger past or present would have beaten Alton in that. Maybe Landon...maybe. It would have been closer.

Great elimination challenge tonight. I though Mark and Kendal might go home, but they toughed it out and won. I guess next week is the last elimination and they're going to run a final with a bunch of people. I bet they have to purge some players during the final.

I wonder if it would’ve been weird to eliminate the EP of the show.

LT was one of the people I was glad to see back on the show. As a cast name, I only vaguely remembered him, but then on screen...oh yeah. It's good to see that he hasn't really grown up at all.
I did find some episodes of Campus Crawl on youtube, and I still don't remember Kendal, although I'm now positive that I watched some of that season back in the day. Of course, I'm rooting for her here. Seriously am I'm going to root for Aneesa's band of witches? Apparently Kendal was irritated that Katie volunteered herself because she wanted to make people expose alliances.
