They had to cast a couple current old school vets for name recognition. CT, Bananas, and Wes were on the casting rumors list, but I heard they passed so they could take a break before The Challenge season 37 starts shooting in April.

I just watched Gauntlet 2 on Paramount Plus, and she and Jisela were really tight on that season. I guess they still keep in touch.

I want to see this but there is NO way I am subscribing to yet another channel for it.
I am already missing out on Disney Channel & HBO Max but their content is currently luring me in.
I am starting to miss the days when everything was in one place. Subscribing to all of these different channels right now is cumbersome and expensive.
And I don't even have the time to watch all the shit I own right now...much less all of this stuff. Dammit.

The first challenge was pathetic. 
I remember when Mark was pitching this to old cast members and he made it seem like it would be like the early days of The Challenge... nope.
The elimination was brutal. Ace got rocked. I’m sorry to see him go first. I’ve liked him since his original TRW season.

I really liked the first episode. All Challenge swimming competitions are usually pathetic. There are a lot of people that can’t swim or dive on the regular Challenge. I knew the OGs would struggle with it. Poor Ace got the crap beat out of him. LT was body slamming him. I was really impressed by Jisela and Yes. Beth looks great for 52.
