I hope Kendal does another season. It’s hard for her to be gone for four weeks due to her job and family, but I have really enjoyed her this season. She could have won more than one season if she was on four or five seasons. She’s a great competitor and just seems to be a really nice person. I’ve been listening to this while I clean today.

No Nehemiah pick Aneesa! I hate that Kendal was eliminated so close to the final. I hope she’s on future seasons. Who would have thought that Big Easy was smart? He won the puzzle challenge and built the chain bridge like it was nothing. They should have made both partners climb the wall and ring the bell. No way Jisela would have made it up.

I’m rooting for KellyAnne and Yes to win. I don’t see Aneesa or Jisela surviving the first episode of the final.

I guess I’m the only one still watching. The music used in The Final was amazing. Kendal would have killed this final. I can’t believe Darrell is about to fall out. Those peppers must be no joke.

Easy might be on to something going slow and steady while everyone else dies from the pepper.

I’m pulling for Yes and Kelly Anne.

While I remember Yes as a name, I didn't watch Semester at Sea and only really remember him as Veronica's partner on Battle of the Seasons so I have no emotional attachment. Seems like a good dude though. Kelly Anne has a lot of crazy girl energy. Still her winning is a million times better than Aneesa or fucking Jemmye.

I think it is probably Yes or Darrell's to win.

It sounds like they’re starting the casting process for season 2.

Sweet!

Also, it would’ve been great to see Amaya again!

In her replies she says the Hawaii cast was approached to do a reunion but unlikely it will happen.

I wonder if they would bring back Colin Mortensen. I remember really enjoying his blog when he won Battle of the Sexes, but he was almost invisible on the show.

They apparently have a list of 100 people that are interested. https://www.usmagazine.com/podcasts/...have-inquired/

If they can get everyone vaccinated, they might not have to quarantine and that would cut down the time away from home. More people might be interested if they only had to be away from home three weeks instead of four weeks.

I agree it's probably Yes or Darell to win. I usually don't like the one winner Male or Female finals, but this seems like a fairly fair way to do it. I really have enjoyed the show so far, I cannot wait for them to do another season. The regular Challenge has just dragged on the past few seasons, I seriously forget half the people that were on the show but eliminated early now, this is especially true for Rookies.

I'm here, I just fell way behind (crazy travel schedule last year morphed into insane this year) so I've had to stay out of the thread. Finally caught up last night and ready for the final.

It was nice to have a Challenge again with some sportsmanship. And good to see the best all around player winning. I very much look forward to another season.

I was happily surprised to see there will be an in person reunion next week.

Re: The Challenge: All Stars (Paramount+) - premieres 4/1/21

I wonder how many seasons people like Yes and Kendal could have won if they did more than one or three seasons each? Yes has 2 wins in 4 seasons (Challenge 2000 and All Stars). Kendal has 1 win in 2 seasons (The Inferno). I think viewers really missed out on them not being on more seasons. Mark Long is really impressive at 49 years old. I think I could do most of the final except for the eating parts. That would be my Achilles heel. Also, Aneesa proves why everyone eliminates her before a final. She just can’t hang.

Too bad it ended up being the Jisela Show. The one person I was least interested in hearing from and she could not stop running her mouth.

I haven’t watched it yet, I saw on Twitter that the mean girls witches coven went after Kendal during the reunion and she wasn’t even there to defend herself.

I honestly thought the finale format was screwed up. There is no way a woman had even more then a 1% chance to win the season unless you had like Big Eric,Broken leg Cryus and other guy who is bad at endurance part of the final group of male contestants. A top tier minimally competent male is not losing to a woman in a foot race. That said Yes was a very deserving winner

I thought the points in the final contest were divided by gender. (i.e., first place male 10 points, first place female 10 points and so on...). In that scenario, a woman could win if she timed her partners correctly, which was the same hurdle the men faced.

The final race up the mountain wasn't. It was double points and not divided by gender. So Yes won 10 points for first. 9 points for second, 8 points for third at least that’s how I understood it. It left the females with a huge disadvantage.

If that's the case, then I'm surprised there weren't more complaints. I guess people want to come back.

KellyAnne has been pretty outspoken about it. I went back and watched it this morning and they didn't do a good job of explaining or showing how many points each person won when they reached the top.

Loving some of the possibilities. More excited for future seasons of this than the main show. So hopefully this back around Sept/Oct if that filming date sticks.

Paramount+ sent me a survey about this too and I tried be as positive as possible with feedback.
