I don't know when you watched season 2, but that season ended with Ian and Poppy leaving MQ to start a new business and create a new game, focusing on Poppy's vision this time. It's a bit of a joke that the office for their new company is just on a different floor of the same building MQ is in; technically they're a separate company. Also at the end of season 2, Ian and Poppy paid for Dana's schooling to become a game developer, on the condition that she come work for them, so she's working at the new company. Meanwhile, the rest are still working at MQ.

Yeah that helps.
I didn’t pick up that it was the same building somehow. Forgot about the end of season 2, it’s been awhile. Over 2 years since that ended?

Season 2 ended June 25, 2021, but Season 3 premiered November 11, 2022. So it was only a year and a half between seasons. Meanwhile, it's been over a year since season 3 ended.

Season 4 is filming now, so maybe it will be out later thisyear.
