Isn't there one in the first and last episodes of the season? Is is just the first, I can't remember now?

This is the season Breaking Bad turned on the turbo boosters

Better Call Saul has to do the same

Now is the time to turn on the turbo boosters and get to the Breaking bad timeline asap

Officially, I think Walt was exiled for about six months in "Granite State."

I suspect that Gene would go online and read the news from Albuquerque; it seems to be in his character to keep himself informed of any happenings that could effect him.

Since he knew Walt was getting disappeared, too, I don't know if he would google (or duckduckgo) for news on Walter White, but I think he probably would since he's so paranoid.

This is a shootout leaving multiple people dead, including a guy who was just talked about on Charlie Rose, and wanted for the deaths of two federal agents. That’s pretty much guaranteed to make national news.
