Bachelor in Paradise not being cancelled is the best news I've heard in a week. It's one of my all time guilty pleasures.

Corinne pretty much has to put up a lawsuit and try to subpoena the tape, which will probably result in a settlement (a fast one if they continue the show). DeMario was fired from his job, -What will happen there, I wonder?

This is just a guess but Corinne has to threaten a lawsuit against the production in order to receive a settlement. The production (or possibly ABC) would rather settle quietly than put the production or the franchise under a microscope. Corinne will say she needs the tape as part of her case. ABC can't look like it's attacking a woman even if it shows her in a compromising situation. They can threaten quietly behind closed doors but they can't let that get out. DeMario is in a trickier situation. The fact that we know these names only complicates things.

ABC wont settle shit as now she will be accusing demario of nothing. Plus you know race will be involved so she better be quiet(if it indeed shows no wrong doing in demarios side)

I still haven't seen this version of the story in print, though it makes sense, since this version of events makes it more likely for the show to come back. The latest item I've read says DeMario is not returning to the show; he's decided he needs to stay out of the spotlight for a while. I wonder if that will help him get his job back, or a job, period.

Corrine's Lawyers have ended their further investigation into the pool incident and didn't file a lawsuit, she won't return for the season.

There is zero chance she was invited to return. But she has no credibility anyway.

Never watched this show, but seen the shit on the news. So as far as i can tell, she went on the show even though she had an on-again/off-again boyfriend. She got drunk, acted like a whore, then someone on production probably got jealous of the guy or girl and used the excuse of the situation being inappropriate to cause problems. Corrine quickly realizes that if she jumps on this situation as fast as she jumps on the guys she could see a big pay day if she plays the victim. All investigations are concluded and find that she willingly got herself drunk, acted like a whore and is trying to reap a big pay day whilst the guy involved gets trashed in the media even though he has done nothing inappropriate.

Yeah, i am glad i don't watch this kind of shit TV.

The issue will be addressed on the show itself, though it has not been said to what extent.

yeah... but it's in how they address it. Will it be as PC as you describe with no names named or will the producers take some shots at Corinne, directly or indirectly. The producers have proven in the past that they're not particularly discreet or tasteful.

I think they will change the show from being more about drunken fumbling interactions to a series of proper dates

Looks like it starts next week and includes scenes with Corrine and Demario

so we will get an idea of what happened

Supposedly they'll start with a version of what happened with film backing it up. Corrine and DeMario will be on the reunion show at the end of the run. There are some new tweaks to the drinking policy.

I'm excited for it coming back on Monday, Kristen "The Russian" from Nick's season is on it. I'm glad she'll be back on tv.
