Ooof, the costumes there in live action do not look very good to me. Like mediocre cosplay.

Yep that photo makes me very pessimistic about this one. Should have kept it as a movie and put a big budget with decent costumes, effects and actors that would be more suited to the parts.

I don't think that Kevin Feige ever wanted to make an Inhumans movie. Ike Perlmutter did. When his oversight of Marvel Studios was taken away in 2015, the theatrical Inhumans project was slowly de-emphasized and cancelled.

About this time, links between the theatrical MCU and the Television MCU were also de-emphasized, as Perlmutter still has oversight over TV. So that's why Inhumans became a TV project.

I really believe that Marvel Studios would rather that there was no Television branch of the MCU. It's a red-headed stepchild.

While the photo isn't exactly inspiring, I won't write the show off yet. The Flash's prepublicity shots looked terrible and that show turned out well.

I'm guessing Blackbolt's mask won't be making an appearance.

Yup. Many early superhero costumes looked terrible in publicity photos. Can't judge just by that.

All the characters (except Crystal and Maximus) wore masks at one point or another. While they looked great on the page (for the most part) I don't think they'd translate well.

Comic fans are SPOILED AS FUCK! Even "teasers" that...well...TEASE...aren't good enough. I mean shit.. they look pretty good for a live action version of the characters in that pic, even if i would like to see BB's mask and glowy tuning fork thingy. I'm looking forward to this.

Headgear seems to be downplayed in the MCU. I'm surprised Captain America wears his cowl as often as he does. I'm sure Blackbolt's fancy pope hat thing will be featured about as much as Thor's winged helmet.

Looks just like a TV show (ala AoS). I know its on ABC and all, but wouldn't they want this to look more cinematic if it will be on IMAX? They should've just shot it like a film.

Hollywood doesn't like covering up the heads and faces of its headline performers. Many people only buy tickets or watch something for a certain actor/actress. They want that star to have maximum exposure in press materials.

It's one of the big reasons why most traditional superhero costumes with masks don't get properly translated to screen. I remember WB was obsessed with removing Green Lantern's mask so they could show off Ryan Reynolds' face in it. They finally relented on a CGI mask in his costume.

You know it's not a good sign when they can't even bother to make the promo-poster look good...

Looks kind of bland to me. Kind of wish they showed off more powers and such. That said... still love Lockjaw!

I let out a little squeal when Lockjaw popped in and save Black Bolt.

Still... I wish this were a MCU film and the old rumor of Vin Diesel as Black Bolt were true.

That looks dreadful and the effects on Lockjaw are horrible. This looks like a typical SyFy Channel piece of crap. Such a waste as this could have proven a fantastic movie series. And i agree that Vin Diesel could have been good in the role of Black Bolt. It seems to counter his voice of Groot perfectly in not being able to say anything in this role. I am sure this was the role that he was chasing with Feige for years. They never confirmed it, but seems appropriate.

Looks promising. I'll give it a go on TV when it premieres there. I gave up on Agents of SHIELD in the middle of Season 3 and never particularly warmed up to Agent Carter, so I hope this is an improvement. These network TV Marvel shows always came across as too polished, glossy, and vapid.
