Iron Fist is supposed to come out sometime next year. They have been filming all year. My guess is Spring.
That reminds me, I need to finish Jessica Jones' 1st season. I watched about 6 episodes before it fell on the back burner. Luke Cage was introduced in it and I don't want to start this without fully completing that and not missing any little details about him.

Really looking forward to this, but will have to hold off a week or two before I can watch it. Arrggghh!

I just finished the first episode. To be honest the story hasn't sucked me in yet like Daredevil and Jessica Jones did. I'll keep watching, though. I'm not sure I get where this fits in chronologically with JJ. He had his own bar in that, didn't he? It also sounds like it's pre-Age of Ultron with the DVD peddler talking like there'd only been one Avengers sighting.

Is every episode really named after a gangstarr track? I haven't had a chance to check netflix yet. Binge watch Luke Cage or play destiny...

I just watched the first ten-or-so minutes of "Cage", and there's a conversation between Cage and his barber pal where they mention the "rebound chick" who shot him in the head. That places this after "Jessica Jones".

First episode is very slow. I find it amusing how they put pasties on women's boobs but they throw around the n word like it is going out of style. So far, Marshaz Ali is a standout in this.
It doesn't feel as dark as DD or JJ, though.

3 episodes in... it's ok, but nothing amazing so far for me. Nothing that's griped me the way Daredevil or Jessica Jones did, and so far a lot of the plot just feels really by the numbers and predictable. Certainly curious to see where this goes though and how things escalate for the rest of the series.

I'm 6 episodes in. It's pretty good, if a bit too predictable. The cast, acting and action are pretty well done if not quite as good as Daredevil and Jessica Jones. There are a lot of questions I have and the show hasn't either gotten around to answering them, or Luke Cage also can walk around without the government getting into his business or his past not being an issue. Aside from these plot holes, I'll keep binging.

I've listened to a couple interviews with the creator who said that every episode title is named after a Gangstarr song. I'm eight episodes in and I'm digging the show.

One more ep to go, not as good as DD and JJ, but I still like it.
Loved the casting, nearly perfect. Disney/Marvel sure know how to cast. Luke
Loved the look and feel of the show, 70s feel in modern day.
Was not pulled in from the very beginning like I was in DD and JJ. Did not feel like I HAD to watch the next show like I did in DD and JJ.
-The last 3 eps of LC had great endings that made me want to go to the next ep.
Anyway, get way Netflix/Disney/Marvel.

Just finished episode 4, ties into Jessica Jones by bringing in the Reva backstory, and a REALLY nice homage to his classic 70's costume. I like this show a lot so far...

I just finished episode 10 and I can't be arsed to continue. This isn't just a bad Marvel show, it's just not very good television. Dialogue isn't good, plotting is glacial, action isn't impressive, and the acting is surprisingly poor. Blech. It isn't even like the slow parts of Jessica Jones where cutting out 3-4 episodes would have helped. I have no idea what could fix this show.

I marathoned the show yesterday. Overall, I enjoyed it. But it wasn't as good as DD or JJ. I thought the second half was slow. I wasn't impressed by the villains. And I wanted a more satisfying ending. I was also disappointed that none of the other heroes made an appearance.

Pretty good but I wonder if the
will have repercussions on the rest of the MCU? If they don't, they should. Having a weapon like that on the streets should surely have a huge impact. They could possibly take out (or at least slow-down) someone like The Hulk.
