In terms of time passing, there was a security camera when Box was investigating that showed the date as November 24 - 1 month after the incident on Oct. 24....so it hasn't been THAT long yet. This episode definitely planted some seeds of doubt about Nas' innocence - dude has a dark side!

I think we saw a "tough" Nas when he confronted the two guys outside the girls apartment. I chalked it up to the drugs he took... but in retrospect, he had a confrontational side long before prison.

Liked the scene with Nas, Stone and the other lawyer in the visiting area where Stone was quick to call out Nas' smuggling effort.
Outside of a few scenes with the DA, seems like Box hasn't had much screen time the past couple episodes. Hopefully that changes in the remaining episodes.

I think this show is terrific. I like the realism of it. I have my own thoughts on where it is going, but I am finding it really compelling. Turturro, who I don't always like is truly awesome in this so far.

Just got caught up with the last 3 episodes.
Naz is a very hard character to read. He's actually showing some really dark characteristics. Riz Ahmed is doing a pretty solid job playing him. Stone is seeing that he isn't all that he seems.
Also surprised to see how fast he's adjusted to prison life.
Thought that episode 6 kind of ended abruptly with Stone chasing down that guy into a dark alley and then the lights start going out in a blue-ish tint and then cut to black.
The disgusting foot problem that Stone has was starting to get kind of annoying. They've spent a little too much time on that.
So the black woman that Stone has been sleeping with is a Call Girl right?
Really liked Box in the first few episodes, but he's kind of taken a back seat now. I did like seeing him trying to put the pieces together of Naz's timeline with Andrea.
I would love it if HBO released the unseen Pilot with Gandolfini playing Stone as a BD extra. Probably unlikely though. They shot 3 episodes of the 2nd season of Luck before it was cancelled and those episodes have remained unseen.

Here's something interesting no one has brought up. I'm almost certain I saw 3 bags of coke go from the dude to Nas & also saw him swallow 3. However, they both said there was 4 when he was shitting them out.

They actually shot a Pilot ep with Gandolfini? I'm guessing the rest of the cast was also different?

I don't see how this gets resolved in two episodes - unless they can flat out catch the step-dad. I'm hoping to see more flashbacks to explain the intricacies of the murder.

Good point... I'm glad we can put the feet thing behind us.
The whole "Nas is a badass" is rubbing me the wrong way. He's now getting tatted up and smoking crack??? Every single thing he's done since taking his dad's cab is an abomination of bad judgement.

They aren't doing a very good job of giving viewers a sense of how much time has passed. Maybe the foot thing with all of the different doctors and therapies is supposed to help viewers understand that months and months are passing, but instead it feels like it is happening very quickly.

I thought it was another good episode but I couldn't get past the disregard for last weeks ending that they didn't address.
2 episodes left and I can't see how this one gets resolved. Unless they pull a play out of "The Affairs" playbook and take what we think is a one season arc and give us a cliffhanger at the end.
edit to add: now Nas is throwing kids down the stairs in 9th grade, smoking crack, turning into a stalker, becoming and all around prison bad ass? I guess that shows that we knew absolutely nothing about Nas save for his heritage before the night in question.

Did they resolve why his Facebook friends were thanking Nas and giving him kudos for "saving" them? I assume he provided adderal or some other pick-me-up drug for his college buddies.
