Indeed. Loved it, especially Turturro's performance.Originally Posted by Noonan

Almost got a little misty-eyed during that final scene

This show does not deserve 14 pages of discussion. It was threadbare and padded.

You caught me. I just thought it was so obviously terrible that I keep getting drawn back to this thread.

I really really liked it. It was not perfect at times but it was very good on many levels.

Can juries really decide they're done? I assume that must be accurate, but it seemed..weird

It's easier to do this with shows whose seasons are self-contained (ie. one storyline and set of characters for the season). It takes about 3-5 episodes to get a good gauge if the show will be any good, and by that point you're so close to the finale of the storyline/characters - you hang around just for closure. It didn't help that with TD, S1 was decent - so there was lingering hope that they'd pull out of the nosedive in S2 (which didn't happen).Originally Posted by Decker

Yes, it was only 8 parts and I did want to see the resolution. But no way was it worth all the animal torture and feet scratching.Originally Posted by PacMan2006

I'm still undecided as to whether or not I liked this. I did look forward to new episodes airing but it seemed very anti-climatic for the build up.

I just binged this. Didn't love love it, it was really good, but the little Turturro quirks and allergy stuff took me out a bit. Could a kid like Nas really turn like that in mere days?
