I could imagine a minor reduction just to acknowledge the shorter season, but not the 30% that would match the reduction in episodes.

If it's any consolation, the Season 6 Blu-ray will be released this November in time for the holidays instead of their usual spring release date.

Not having HBO,I greatly appreciated the early release - and have just finished watching it. As one who went into this show with apprehension - not really enjoying the genre in the first place - I've totally loved the entire thing so far! Now that's entertainment!!

I just finished up this ep.
This might be one of the best seasons of a tv show I’ve ever watched.
I loved it even the stuff with Arya.
As for that post at the start of this topic by Josh. That stuff should have been in a spoiler, it’s pretty clear that he saw something somewhere beforehand for it all to be so accurate.
Anyone who read that before the ep should have been royally ticked off.
Moving forward I hope I don’t see any more of that without it being hidden in spoiler tags.
About to start season 7.
