Man, Adrien Brody acting as Dice was so fucking funny. Such an odd choice, but he's such a good actor he easily pulled it off.
We will never know how big Dice's unit is lol.
Is Criss Angel a has-been too?

It has to be said that the Carmen character is great. On episode 4 when the chair guy wanted to fight Dice and she says go for it, was great comedic timing.
Still loving the show.

Season two of the comedy series DICE will return with seven new, half-hour episodes Sunday, August 20 at 10:30pm ET/PT on SHOWTIME on air, on demand and over the internet. Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, the scripted, semi-autobiographical series will dig deeper into the unconventional world of Andrew Dice Clay - beyond the character who once sold out Madison Square Garden. The unemployed comic struggles to restart his career and deals with the effects of his outrageous brand of fame, all while living in the Vegas suburbs with his girlfriend Carmen (Natasha Leggero). Created by Scot Armstrong (Old School, The Hangover Part II), Dice chronicles Clay as he tries to live his life while trapped in the skin of "The Diceman." The series also stars Kevin Corrigan and Natasha Leggero. Season two guest stars include David Arquette, Andy Daly, Patrick Fischler, Billy Gardell, Mary Holland, Michael Imperioli, Ron Livingston, Laraine Newman, Tony Orlando, Mickey Rourke, Teller, Mike Starr and James Woods. The series' executive producers are Armstrong, Sean Furst, Bryan Furst, Andrew Dice Clay, Bruce Rubenstein, Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.

The premier wasn't my favorite of the series, but it was still OK. The second episode was fantastic. Dice does a great job playing himself, which sounds like I'm damning with faint praise but I don't mean it that way at all. He does a great job in this and it is a very enjoyable show.

The premiere where he imagined how life would be if he never became Dice was good though this show is nowhere on the same level as Louie or Maron other comedies based loosely on their lives.

I do wonder for anyone watching it who didn't live during Dice's rise to fame, can really fathom how big he was for those few years. This guy was selling out 20,000 seat arena's back then with ease.

Another good season finished last night. I cracked up hard at the very end "Oh fuck me"
Ron Livingston was great, and I hope he comes back for more. The Rourke ep was good as well.

No big loss
It could not hold a candle to Louie and Maron.

Maron is still relevant and not a has-been.

I can't go that far in that I thought just recently he was pretty good in GLOW, but I agree that I can't get interested in his other work (I tried his podcast a few years back and gave up pretty quickly). Similarly, I find Dice (the man) is OK in the right setting, and in that regard Dice (the show) was entertaining and I would definitely have continued watching.
