Okay, maybe it's because I've been starved for solid space-opera sci-fi since BSG, but I'm enjoying the hell out of this show.
If I hadn't read Leviathan Wakes a few months ago, the plot might be confusing, but they're doing a great job translating the book. Another solid episode, with good plotting, decent acting, and good effects. The bit about naming the Rocinante was great.

Haven't read the books, but binge-watched all the episodes the last couple days. It started slowly but I'm pretty invested in the plot and the characters now, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected.

I'm definitely still on board with this. I just had to find time to get to the last two episodes on the DVR.
I find the story of our four travelers the most compelling so far. I think it helps that they have the most perspective on the plot, but are equally as clueless as the viewers. Plus it helps their story has been moving at a good pace.
I'm least compelled by the earth plot, and was pleased they didn't have any screen time in episode 4.
The station plot with the detective quickly picked up steam, and even took a big twist. Will be interesting to see how his relationship with ex and partner are used to help him with this development.
One thing this show does better than any space show I've watched before is convey space as a central character. Not only is is massive - dare I say expansive
- but it's dangerous. Even when characters are on a large space station or ship, there's always the underlying fear that something could go wrong at a moments notice. I wish Star Trek Enterprise had of taken the same approach. It was a missed opportunity.
As an aside, I watched the last two episodes by way of Philips Hue and the SyFy Sync app. It is not a flawless experience, but it's pretty nifty. The app does prompt you to confirm the episode you are watching, which good because it thought I was watching an older episode based on the "previously on" segment. It does take a few seconds to align or kick in after a commercial break. Whole you wait (and fast forward through commercials) you retain the previous light setting. The light choices in some scenes are questionable. I wonder if they are manually set by somebody, or the app queues off of something and picks. Example was the bar scene. On TV there were mellow white or yellow lights in the scene, but my light queued to a rich purple. It worked, but I did wonder why it wasn't matched to the scene lighting. Other scenes, the colors seemed to match.

I just watched the first 7 episodes.
I don't understand why anyone would choose to raise their child in a place where the lack of sufficient gravity and oxygen would cause all those health problems. Are these people prisoners? Are they not allowed to go and live on earth?
I guess Moore's law would have ended a long time ago, as the Planck length would limit the amount of storage. I wonder how much memory their cell phones can hold.

This is one of the best shows I've watched in awhile. The best sci-fi show in quite awhile. This show should be getting more viewers and attention like GoT, but hopefully the audience will grow and hopefully it will end up on Netflix and will be helped by that before season two. I love it and find it utterly riveting. Maybe it helps that I have read the books but that could have been a bad thing if they'd done a bad job with it. They've done the book justice and been surprisingly faithful to it.

Had to play catchup on the last 2 episodes - of course there is a new one tonight.
The pacing on this is actually like a good book. There is a hook at the end of an episode, just like a chapter, where you want to see what happens next.
The suspense on this show is crazy. I know I said it before, but I've never felt like space has been such a dangerous place on tv before. The music helps with a lot of ambiance too.
That cyborg (?) operative seemed super sleazy. Guess he's good at his job.
Only knock - this past episode actually converged several plot points rather quickly. I ironically finally had a sense that a few days passed.

Pilot was a little slow to start since it set up so many characters and locations, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Each episode gets better and better. And the tension of space is the best I've ever scene in a show.

I finally got a chance to binge this over the last 3 days or so. Really enjoyed it. Good characters, interesting plot, etc. It also has great effects and that gritty BSG feeling to it as others have said.
Looking forward to next season and I am now tempted to read the books. I have had Leviathan Wakes on my Kindle for a while but never got around to it.

I am binging the hell out of this lately. Just have the 2 hour finale left to go. I like it, but I don't give two shits about the political stuff. The police stuff also is basically boring until Miller finally meets up with Holden. It reminds me of a cross between Total Recall and Battlestar Galactica. If they would just make this a completely space show, I'd probably love it more.

Just caught up on this one. Great show. It's a pretty dense story but very enjoyable. I still have no clue why the Indian woman is so prominently featured though.

A buddy kept saying that the books were awesome, so we watched the first episode and it rocked. I was quite shocked, because I knew it was from SyFy and figured that the CGI would be a bit iffy. Outside of a few shots of a five year old show, it was pretty cool. As soon as they landed at the rendition-torture facility in the Hamptons, I became hooked.
