I've always thought she's hot - amazing body.

The show is spending a few weeks in Cuba this season (shot in Puerto Rico) more for seasonal issues (too cold/rainy in NY during Spring shooting) than anything else.

I figured they would run into some trouble filming in the Spring when the weather was still unpredictable. I assumed that when Boris handed Hank that business card for the doctor in Cuba, that we might see that take effect into a storyline over there.

I actually think that's intentional. Didn't a character in the first season sign Hank on because they refused to go to the Hamptons hospital because it sucked? I think the lady with the "flat tire" made a reference to that.

And yes, Divya is great. Still pulling for Evan (a character I enjoy) and her to get together.

Re: Royal Pains -- Season 2 Premiere -- "Spasticity" -- 06/03/10

The only thing I liked about this show when I saw it last year was that Divya's father was played by the guy who did a whole string of Fiber One commercials. I kept expecting him to hand out yogurt samples during the polo match or at least discuss the importance of staying 'regular'.

I was disappointed in that regard.

Royal Pains was extended to 18 episodes today. 12 will air this summer, the back 6 will air in 2011.

Re: Royal Pains -- "Lovesick" -- 06/10/10

Thought this episode was okay.

Mary Lynn Rajskub just didn't work for me as the special guest star in the B story. Maybe I'm still stuck with her playing Chloe O'Brian, but this character IMO just didn't suit her. The resolution with the Broken heart syndrome was just cheesy. And to top it off, we get a ridiculously cheesy PSA with Mark Feurestein and Reshma Shetty about heart disease.

I was entertained by the A story with Hank, Evan and their Dad. I'm glad that Eddie returned all their money, but I still don't really understand why he emptied their account in the 1st place and what the hell he used the money for. Kind of a weird twist that he is now dating Mrs. Newberg.

The C story with Hank diagnosing the leaprosy that was originally diagnosed as syphilis was pretty formulaic. Nothing special about that.

Loved the USA promo during the commercial break with Divya diagnosing Sam from Burn Notice. Man, she looked stunning.

Now that the season has been extended to 18 episodes, I hope that doesn't mean they will continue to drag out the Hank-Jill thing. To me it doesn't really make any sense that the writers feel they should be apart in the 1st place.

I've been liking Winkler a lot here, the Father/Son story packs a big punch, and is surprisingly emotional for a show that's often light and fun.

Dude, agree on both counts. Here for those that haven't seen it. I'm loving these crossover promos they've been doing. The one with Hank getting the care package from Westen with C4 in it haha

The funniest one i have seen is the rap that has guys from Burn Notice, White Collar and Royal Pains. Somehow they even got Boris to participate which seemed very odd to me.

I got the impression he used the money to invest in some risky startup. Not sure exactly where I got that impression, though.

As for this episode, it delivered everything I expect from Royal Pains - breezy fun, some laughs, a little light drama and - most important - Divya.

I figured he lost the money in some shady investment and he got money to pay them back from the rich woman he's now dating.

As I sat here and tried to think up something to say, I realized, I really don't have much to say. FOD's post says it all. I enjoy the show, but I don't know that it's anything essential. As long as they make the stories decent (enough to keep me halfway interested in between Divya scenes) and keep bringing the Divya, I'll be happy.

Royal Pains -- "Keeping the Faith" -- 06/17/10

Royal Pains

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
A movie star (WWE wrestler Big Show) collapses and learns what's ailing him is rooted in the thing that has made him famous. Meanwhile, Eddie shares the news that he's staying in the Hamptons.

Never heard of Big Show. I assume this episode is more for cross promotion for WWE since it airs on USA.

Episode 3 of 18. 12 episodes will air this summer.

This. Whether they thought the sister was a fair enough substitute or not, Divya was sorely missed. (Although, while she was there, wow!)

I'll keep watching. It's nothing earth-shattering, but interesting enough to keep watching after BN's over. I enjoy it.

She looked familiar to me, too. I checked her IMDB entry and I must recognize her from the short-lived "Kitchen Confidential" TV adaption (though I've also watched one or two episodes of "Parenthood" and "The Winner", the former being much more recent).

Erinn Hayes, she was also on the short lived CBS comedy Worst Week.

I thought The Big Show did a pretty good job, not that he had to stretch his acting skills too much.

Re: Royal Pains -- "Keeping the Faith" -- 06/17/10

Just watched the episode, it was fun seeing Big Show, I thought he did a nice job. I really liked his sister too, I thought she was great looking and good actress as well. I'm curious about this new blonde doctor we saw at the end, and what this means for Hank... hopefully we get some more answers next week.

Speaking of which, new promo is up on the website, it looks like next week the guys head to Cuba on a private jet.
