Divya!

Will Eddie survive? I've been on pins and needles since the "cliffhanger."

Re: Royal Pains -- Winter Premiere -- "Mulligan" -- 1/20/11

Yummy Divya tonight! I thought it was a good episode, but my favorite surprise was Tom Cavanaugh's performance; I loved Ed years ago, but he always seems to play a similar role (almost like one of those yippy, annoying dogs). Tonight, I thought his turn as Jack O'Malley was great; hope we'll see him back in the future.

Also wondering how Boris' offer to Evan about Eddie's recuperation will play out; you could see Evan's obvious discomfort as he probed to push Eddie in that direction. All said, good start.

Nice to have this show back. It's like putting on some comfy slippers. Jill looked good in her golf outfits.

Boris' offer to help Eddie was really odd; I'm wondering what his endgame is.

That was by far the highlight of a yawner episode. Granted, I pretty much watch this show because of her and Divya.

Re: Royal Pains -- "Pit Stop" -- 1/27/11

The main medical story was pretty boring, I thought, but the other stuff was great. I'm already bored with Dr. Peck back, but the whole TV show thing, Evan pissing off Paige, trying to hook Divya into coming back, etc.

Jill looked nice getting out of the water and Divya....

Was this the first episode where they didn't show Hank's original 'transgression' in the "Previously on...." segment. I always find that annoying.

at Evan's reaction to seeing Jill and Dr. Peck in bed together.

I thought it was a fun episode. I like how they're mixing up the case-of-the-week stuff with the larger story arcs.

Some interesting tid bits about tonight's episode. I'm so over Hank and Emily. Get him back with Jill pronto.

I like this show alot, but I kind of wish it stayed exclusively in the summer. It just gets buried with the other shows on Thursday night.

I'm still liking this show alot. I guess this would be getting a little more attention if it stayed in the summer and not a busy night like Thursday.

Next week is the season finale.

USA is becoming one of my favorite networks between this, Psyche, and Burn Notice. I agree about it's time slot though. I think having the whole season air during the summer is the way to go.

I'm still enjoying it, but there isn't a whole lot to discuss. And wasn't this run "technically" the end of the summer episodes that together made up the entire season?

In case you didn't already know, this was already renewed for an 18 episode 3rd season. Will return most likely in July.

Re: Royal Pains -- Season Finale -- "Listen to the Music" -- 2/24/11

I just recently caught up on this series, and the next season (season 3) starts on June 29, 2011.

I thought the show was decent, but this season 2 finale was a little weak.

Does anyone that may read this know why Boris kicked HankMed out of his guest house? Iirc, it occurred at the end of the previous episode. I thought it may be explained in the season finale ep, but it was ignored. One would think that Hank might be interested in knowing the reason, but, like I said, the reason for Boris bringing in movers and packing up their stuff without warning was never explained. Maybe I missed it?

You didn't miss it. I don't think it was ever really explained. Wasn't someone else moving IN too?

I assumed it was all due to their father and the way Hank handled Boris's girlfriend and her pregnancy. Can't wait for the summer USA shows to start back up.

that was my impression as well. boris felt betrayed since hank wouldn't tell him about the pregnancy. then add in his father's shenanigans and it was too much.

Valid reasons, but I don't think we were ever told one way or another.

I used to love this show, but the formula is getting tired. I can tell in advance when someone is going to pass out for the hell of it. It happens in every episode.

Re: Royal Pains -- Season Premiere -- "Traffic" -- 6/29/11

Good to see this show back. Best thing about the ep was no Henry Winkler. Hopefully, Fonzie's character stays in jail all season, not wanting to have visitors. Never cared for the character or for Winkler's acting in this show.

With Jill supposedly leaving (yeah right) and Divia moving in, it's time for Hank to hit that. It's about time Divia showed some more skin.
