I enjoyed The Big Show. Now he needs to get cast as The Mountain That Rides in A Game of Thrones.

Speaking of which, new promo is up on the website, it looks like next week the guys head to Cuba on a private jet.
It was mentioned in last week's thread that they had to shoot some episodes in Puerto Rico because of inclement weather in New York. These earlier episodes were probably shot in the Spring when it was still cold and rainy there on occasion.

Re: Royal Pains -- "Keeping the Faith" -- 06/17/10

Also caught this tonight.

Good episode. Light and breezy fun. Nothing to really over-analyze. I have to say that I am liking Evan alot more this season than last. They have really toned down him down and made him useful to Hank and Divya.

Big Show was a fun guest star. Although I have to say that Garbage Collector character his character played was awful, especially in that simulated movie at the end.

Is he really 7 feet 500 pounds? He's a pretty big dude, but I assume Hank's statement was a major exaggeration.

Surprised to see Anastasia Griffith from Trauma at the end. I wonder why Boris is hiring a 2nd Concierge Doctor.

One of my best friends is being introduced in this episode. He plays major role in the other 2. All these episodes were filmed in Puerto Rico.

I like the tension between the new doc and Divya - I'm thinking this might be the thing that puts Eva and Divya together. They both sort of form a dislike over her and bond about it.

I liked this episode and I'm glad they're changing up the setting and going outside of the Hamptons once and a while

Spring weather was too "iffy" in the Hamptons so they moved the show to the Caribbean for a few episodes. They'll probably do something similar next season (if the show lasts that long).

It will be back. This and Burn Notice have USA's highest ratings.

I really disliked the entire B-plot back in The Hamptons. It felt like they were just trying to find a way to keep the women in the episode. I understand that they couldn't take the whole gang to Cuba, but find a better story for the ladies or don't use them at all.

The Cuba stuff was good, if not predictable.

I don't get it either. Why would Diivya be working for her anyhow?

Then again I wonder what Hank and his brother do during the 9 months people aren't in the Hamptons.

Lots of pro bono work with the poor full time inhabitants?

Help Divya pick out a wide arrary of white pants for the high season?

Divya certainly knows how to pull off the white capris look.

I'm interested in seeing how this new girls that's going to work for Hank Med is going to play out. Great move by the writers on keeping things fresh by adding a simple twist. Looking forward to next week.

Royal Pains -- "Mano a Mano" -- 07/01/10

Royal Pains

Just finished last week's episode and liked the Cuba scenes alot. I agree with what was mentioned that the Hamptons scenes felt almost pointless and were written just to give Reshma Shetty something to do. I was surprised to see Peter Jacobson (Taub from House) guest star again. You know it was funny I did not recognize Bonnie Somerville from NYPD as the blonde chick that Evan was into until near the end when they shot her up close.

Nothing yet? I've got this on DVR since I was out last night, but looking forward to an episode with more Divya (last week was a let down).

Watching this tonight or maybe later today. Was at work late.

The boys are still in Cuba though, so the Hamptons scenes will probably be minimal.

This show is like good junk food TV, you enjoy it while you're watching it, but it's not going to do much else but pack a few pounds on ya in the long run.

Is Jill hotter this season?

Re: Royal Pains -- "Mano a Mano" -- 07/01/10

Better than last week's episode, at least the Hamptons portion was. Cuba stuff was about the same.

Really hate the new Doctor, but at least they made her unlikeable for a reason.

Boring episode except for Divya's tight shiny pants.

Re: Royal Pains -- "Mano a Mano" -- 07/01/10

Pretty much a perfect Royal Pains episode. It's always nice to get a lot of Divya. The hardass new doctor should shakes things up.

I thought the Cuba trip would boring, but I liked it.

The last couple of shows, and this season overall, have been better than the first, IMHO.

My friend is Armando Riesco, who played Oscar in these episodes.
