They probably could have completed the song title "Moves like ..."

I think it's more disappointing than surprising. Sure, if it weren't for the Traveling Wilburys, I wouldn't have been able to pick Bob Dylan out of a lineup as a kid in the 80s. But with the ubiquitous access to music we have now via YouTube, Spotify, etc., you'd like to think that many of today's kids are seeking out great music from the past.

Just for kicks I timed the actual amount of time Jeopardy is on minus commercials and it’s barely
19 minutes from start to end of Final Jeopardy.

No way I could watch Jeopardy w/o a DVR. Particularly in the 1-2 months heading into elections since almost every commercial is a political ad. Except for Jeopardy James, I also skip over Alex's chats with the contestants.

I think a lot of us older folk would fail simple questions like "Camillo Cabella started in this music group" or even "This is the dude who sings with Taylor Swift in ME!" when everyone under say 25 would probably get it.

Thanks for the heads up. When will it air after tonight? Once a week, few days in a row. Amazingly the website doesn't say

Yeah, me too. I suspect a LOT of commercials.

Go Brad!

I heard there was supposed to be a special leading up to this. Is that simply the “What is Jeopardy!?” thing from a few days ago?

Edit: looks like it is. Time for a pre-game to the showdown.

Anyone think Alex might announce his retirement on the final episode of GOAT?

The way it was handled in the special sort of make me think he might.

I sure hope not, but it's possible.
Spoiler:
Brad has to pick up his game. I've got a beer riding on this!

About as I expected.

James looks to have lost his advantage when he's going against players with the same knowledge depth, recall, and trigger fingers that he has. He isn't able to dig out the daily doubles and blimp out his score this time. Still did well, though.

Also looks like these guys are more likely to ring in on clues they don't know just to keep one of the other two from getting it. Which doesn't seem to be a terribly useful strategy if that's what they're doing.

Figured Rutter would fare a bit better; looks like this is down to James and Ken. So far, Ken looks to have the edge if he and Brad can keep James away from the Daily Doubles.

I loved watching the non-emotion of James versus the over-emotion of Ken. Ken would NOT be a good poker player. ;)

Ken is a TV star, not a poker player. He developed that character.

Save for James' 'Ha-ha!' Philadelphia answer to Brad. :D

Yeah all 3 guys are playing the James strategy of hunting and doubling up on DD's. I was impressed that James was able to do so well without getting any DD's in either game. The only reason Ken won was because he was able to find the DD in Double Jeopardy in the first game and double up. If he didn't get that, I think James wins both games outright.

Brad was disappointing. Hope he makes a better run of it in the other matches. I'm hoping for this to run the full length. A final match with all 3 guys having won 2 already would be great. I'll be disappointed if it's a runaway and Ken ends up winning tonight and tomorrow and ending it quickly.

Alex was on 20/20 or something to talk about his career. I recorded it. I haven’t watched it yet.

Yeah, I don't get those who are saying that James wasn't as good as Ken. James lost by $200 and that is without hitting a Daily Double and Ken hitting one. This game really comes down to four clues... the three DDs and FJ. Whoever hits the most of those with right answers wins.

Either way... still rooting for James!

Yeah it was a thing with Michael Strahan, pretty good look behind the scenes of the show and with Alex.

I think this contest comes down to which categories are chosen by the producers. Jennings dominated a few favorable categories, much like James dominated a few he knew well. Brad seemed off his game after blowing the double jeopardies early in the contest.

Brad just seems slower and that he's lost a step mentally. Maybe he'll pick it up tonight. James would have won if he had gotten one daily double.
